Democrats – have you no decency? There’s a seminal moment in the history of government hearings from a session on June 9, 1954, when Joe McCarthy charged that one of Joseph Welch’s attorneys had ties to a Communist organization. As an amazed television audience looked on, Welch responded with the immortal lines that ultimately ended McCarthy’s career: “Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness.” When McCarthy tried to continue his attack, Welch angrily interrupted, “Let us not assassinate this lad further, senator. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?”

In other words – the current iteration of ‘have you no sense of decency?’

I have this recurring imagination that Lucifer whispers an idea into the ear of Gyorgy Schwartz-Soros. Then Soros whispers into Obama’s ear. Then Obama tells Valerie Jarrett. Then Jarrett passes out the approved talking point to Tom Perez at the DNC and all the alphabet fake news media outlets. Then every wackadoodle media person uses the exact same words a thousand times until the next meme is launched by Lucifer into Soros’ ear again the next day.

It’s all about rinse and repeat message control ala The Manchurian Candidate.

President Trump and his shock victory in 2016 laid bare an elite political class so convinced of its own intelligence, virtue and rectitude, that it has unbound itself from conventional morality and ethics as subordinate to its goals of achieving and holding power; to which it believes it is entitled above all else, because of its inherent superiority.

The very foundations of our Civil Society are being deliberately eroded by these LeftoMarxists, for when words become malleable, a common and universal understanding of anything is impossible. When words no longer have clear and immutable meanings, the underlying and foundational guideposts / precepts / boundaries necessary for a Civil Society to exist and function are eroded and destroyed.

Which brings me to Patricia McCarthy and her brilliant essay on the very topic in today’s American Thinker: ‘Birds of a Feather Democrats Reprehensible’…

Observing the events of the past two years, the past month since the release of the Mueller report,  and the last few days of contempt charges, it is impossible to miss the defining characteristics of the most repugnant Democrats driving the impeach Trump campaign.

Pelosi, Swalwell, Schiff, Blumenthal, Nadler, Cohen, Waters, Harris, Booker, et. al. are all of a piece.  Each of them seems to possess an almost identical and wholesale lack of any character at all.  Each of them is vicious to the core.  Each of them is either wholly unaware of his or her own hypocrisy, as in falsely accusing Attorney General William Barr of  contempt, when those who were in Congress at the time, were hysterical when Attorney General Eric Holder was found to be in contempt of Congress.  Or, they assume the American people are ignorant and unable to discern the deviousness of  their plan to destroy Trump.

Holder actually was in contempt of Congress for authentic scandals involving deaths of Americans, such as Operation Fast and Furious, Barr is not. Unlike Holder, Barr is the smartest lawyer in the room.  He knows, as does any sentient legal scholar, that to give the House Judiciary committee what they are asking for – names of intelligence assets, legally protected grand jury testimony – would be breaking the law.  The Democrats with their handmaidens in the media are manufacturing a “constitutional crisis” simply to hound the president and prolong the collusion hoax as long as possible.

Long gone are the days when Tip O’Neill as speaker and our great president Reagan could have dinner and drinks on Martha’s Vineyard over a weekend and hash out compromises that would work for both sides.

Now the DemoMarxists hate Trump and We the People as if we didn’t exist.

Their actions are now so brazen and destructive that they don’t care one wit about the consequences, because for the longest time no one has been brave enough to take the DNC to the mat. We’ve even got RINOs hiding from the DNC, almost to a man and woman, they are that easily intimidated.

Thank God however, we have leaders like Trump and Barr, men of courage and commitment. When you’re receiving incoming flak, you know you’re over the target with the DNC.
