America wasn’t founded on the unmodified democracy that is the ideal of the enemy. America was founded as a representative republic which was further described by the great Benjamin Franklin as something to be guarded as “a Republic, if you can keep it”. Increasingly it appears as though we can’t. While incompetence is the hallmark of the current administration, willful destruction of the America of the Founders persists as is. We shouldn’t concern ourselves with saving democracy but rather place our sights squarely on the enemy within and saving the republic.

According to the latest diatribe emanating from OBO#44 ten days ago or so – “You just have to flood a country’s public square with enough raw sewage. You just have to raise enough questions, spread enough dirt, plant enough conspiracy theorizing that citizens no longer know what to believe. Once they lose trust in their leaders, in mainstream media, in political institutions, in each other, in the possibility of truth, the game’s won,” he summed up. —

That paragraph incorporates just about every fallacy that’s current in contemporary political discourse:

  1. That questions about policies and their consequences are indistinguishable from personal attacks;
  2. That “dirt,” meaning allegations of corruption or scandalous behavior, is never to be believed;
  3. That seeking (and often finding) the motives behind political action is “conspiracy theorizing;”
  4. That politicians are “our leaders” rather than our elected employees with specific job responsibilities;
  5. That politicians and the mainstream media inherently deserve to be trusted;
  6. That to deny them that trust is to deny the “possibility of truth.”

Robert Spencer on the other hand, highlighting the supersonic Supreme Court Leak avers: It’s all the same people behind this leak, the same people who crafted the Russia hoax, impeached Trump twice, and stole the 2020 election. Our country has been overthrown by Marxists thugs, engineered by none other than Barack Obama and his henchmen and all paid for by George Soros and Mark Zuckerberg.

Therefore logic declares the fast-approaching midterms are heading towards a trainwreck for the demoMarxocrats, this leaked draft opinion becoming the perfect opportunity for the left to take the focus off the seriously-demented village idiot and all the disastrous policies to whip the nation up against Republicans. Violence from the left is coming that may make the BLM rioters look like Sunday school kids. Institutions far more acute than yours truly have offered up many times that we don’t need a civil war, we rather more need this crowd of Marxist thugs taken out Mafia-style. Ammo up, everybody. And what has happened to Chief Justice Roberts anyway?

Old Joe Biden said Tuesday that Justice Samuel Alito’s leaked draft majority opinion overturning Roe v. Wade was “really quite a radical decision” and “a fundamental shift in American jurisprudence,” but as usual, he was lying. Alito’s decision appears to be carefully reasoned, firmly based on what the Constitution actually says, and written with a full recognition of the nature and importance of judicial precedent. What is unprecedented is the leak that has allowed us to evaluate this decision before the Court has actually ruled on the case at hand, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. That is the key aspect of this incident for what it reveals about the state of American public life today, the cardinal importance of abortion for the Left, and what might happen next.

As Chief Justice John Roberts stated, “This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here.” NPR legal affairs correspondent, Nina Totenberg, explained: “No fully-formed draft opinion has been leaked to the press or outside the court. Once or twice there may have been leaks that say how is something is going to turn out, or after-the-fact that somebody may have changed his or her mind. But this is a full-flown, Pentagon Papers-type compromise of the court’s work.” She added that while the leak wasn’t illegal, “it’s a career-ender for whoever did.” [-]

[+] … Maybe it won’t. But what has happened to Roberts himself? He was placed on the Court as a conservative. In his early years, he voted with conservative stalwarts Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas. But over the years, something has changed. By June 2020, Roberts had essentially transformed himself into another vote for the Left on the Court. ABC News reported that Roberts “voted with the progressive wing on abortion, immigration and Title VII,” and that consequently, “some outraged legal conservatives have accused Roberts, who was appointed by Republican President George W. Bush, of betrayal.”

No one knows why Roberts turned, but it’s noteworthy that like so many other conservatives when they get to Washington, he did. One rarely, if ever, sees the opposite phenomenon: a prominent politician getting elected, or chosen for the Court, as a Leftist, and then moving rightward. Why? Will the intimidation and threats we will certainly see now be the first? Unlikely. Or is it simply a matter of not getting invited to the best parties in Washington, and shunned by the in-crowd?

Whatever it is, it’s a terrible way to legislate, and to adjudicate. Whatever happens now, it is likely to take us to even newer lows. [end]

And now the Great Divider OBO#44 is telling them to take to the streets ala Cloward and Piven. Go ahead, burn your cities down. Tick off all Americans who love America over a law that is giving power back to the states away from the federal government. DemoMarxocrat-Lefties aren’t the smartest people on the merry-go-round. Likely – and unfortunately – abortion won’t be banned, since most states will crater to allow them. Maybe not until birth like some altruistic demons appear to be heading towards.

Currently 18 states have trigger laws that will ban or restrict abortion access once Roe v. Wade is overturned. Unless the Supreme Court re-affirms the right to life (and yes, it’s there in the Constitution next to the right to free speech and freedom of religion; see the 5th and 14th Amendments) we will just replace an “exercise of raw judicial power” with a raw exercise of legislative power.

Supremes rocked by self-infliction? The Court will find itself marginalized, canceled and irrelevant and not even John Roberts should be happy with that. Remember however, that at the end of every day God is not to be mocked.
