Oligarchy, We the People and Soros. As an opener, here’s from commenter ‘allengen’ opining on one of the threads relating to Shari Goodman’s piece coming up in American Thinker titled “An American Oligarchy vs. We the People”:
The donor class, the billionaires and their corporate allies own both political parties in their combined oligarchy. The founding fathers gave We the People a government that was supposed to be a creation of the people, not the other way around. The current paradigm that conservatives, nationalists, and populists fight against is one in which the well-funded elitist oligarchy sits atop society, with its members free to pursue profit on any continent, without displaying a jot of loyalty to, or concern for, America or its people.
They contribute mightily to left wing causes to buy peace, and it has been working for them swimmingly over the past decade or two. The deal is that members of the politically-correct oligarchy are granted local rule as long as they don’t interfere with the worldwide pursuits of the globalists. Even the left has gone along with this, as long as the money from public coffers keeps flowing.
The Donald, and we deplorables, are seen as an existential threat to this racket. The combined forces of reaction and elitist-rule, exist to drown out the voices of We the People, yet the game is still on. RINOs and globalists who see what’s coming are already abandoning the swamp as they calculate their chances in 2018.[end]
Following that, let’s get a flavor from Shari Goodman’s opener:
For the last few decades, regardless of the political party in control of American governance, mainstream America remained frustrated by a lack of representation. The more things changed, the more they remained the same. A year after the election of President Trump, we have yet to see a Republican Congress make good on its promise to repeal Obamacare and institute tax reform. The election of Donald Trump held hope for millions of Americans who believed they now had a voice in our halls of governance, but that voice is continuously trampled on as the puppet-masters behind the scenes succeed at stifling the will of the American people.
The greatness of America was a government for the people and by the people, but that ideal has been eroded in favor of a new American oligarchy led by billionaires such as George Soros, Tom Steyer, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Mark Zuckerberg, to name a few. They are men of the left and unlike prior rich men in American history, they can now control our election process, both halls of Congress, our courts, our schools, the press, and media outlets. Yes, there are conservative billionaires, but they are not nearly as influential as today’s globalists. It has been reported that 39% of the wealthiest donors back Democrats and that number will only increase with the new young card-carrying liberal titans from the Silicon Valley. After all, Google, Facebook and most Internet titans are fueled by government projects; thus, their interest lies with big government favored by Democrats.
Frustrated by the presidential election of Donald Trump, George Soros has doubled down and recently pledged to contribute $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations for an overall total of $32 billion. Contrary to its mission claim, “to build vibrant and tolerant democracies,” Soros seeks to subvert and suppress the will of the people by using his billions to control America’s agenda towards a One World Government without borders, and with him at the helm.
Beginning in 1994 with the defeat of Hillary Clinton’s nationalized health care bill, Soros’ groups and a few other leftist organizations began to bankroll front groups whose aim was to persuade Congress that Americans were clamoring for “campaign finance reform.” In a ten year period, they spent $140 million dollars to promote it, and the result was the McCain-Feingold Act signed into law by President George W. Bush in 2002.
The Clinton Administration was arguably the first to open up the doors of corruption (selling accommodation in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House on a nightly basis sound strange to anyone?) to corporations, overseas and off-shore entities, Wall Street, etc., etc., and the Clintons themselves continue to this day to debase Federal, State and local government organizations, to say nothing of the numerous scams they’ve pulled off under the umbrella of their Clinton Foundation and their now defunct Clinton Global Initiative. All fueled by George Soros and the oligarchy.
The Bush 43 administration got caught in the crosshairs in the years between the Clinton and Obama administrations, which led up to Obama ransacking the constitution and proceeding to defy any and all standing laws. Between his phone and his pen, Obama just about wrecked the United States, as the complicit and cowardly Uniparty RINO congress cowardly aided, abetted, and allowed the Obama crime spree to spread misery among the citizenry. All fueled by George Soros and the oligarchy.
How the USA survives going forward remains a beacon of hope. This was all decided a long time ago when the USA decided to back plans for a global government following both world wars. In case you missed it, or were never taught history in school, The League of Nations (following WWI) morphed into The United Nations (1948 following WWII), the utopian dream of a globalist empire bringing peace and prosperity to the world failing on both occasions.
Even when copied by the European Union, the failed results remain.
It has been kept under the radar all these years but the antics of the Obama administration plus the gyrations of the EU have exposed the plot. Like millions more, I ofttimes feel we are existing on a cliff’s edge. All fueled by George Soros and the oligarchy.
One way of course, that “they” can create a global government is by force, and some of us are afraid they just might try it. Which is exactly why the founding fathers endowed to us the First, Second, Third, and Fourth Amendments to the Constitution. Currently, the GOPe is undermining President Trump because he is unraveling their three decades of Tax Legislation that is 77,000 pages of Pay-for-Play.
The only way to stop the sale of our Treasury to Oligarchs appears to be to end the long reign of politicians in DC. We will always have Oligarchs, Corporatism and Lobbyists. The problem seems to be that these corrupt relationships last decades and then a new Establishment politician is put in place to nurture a new oligarchy under the umbrella of fascism/corporatism. It simply has to end.
Fortunately, we now have We the Peoples’ champion, President Donald J. Trump at the helm, and we’d all better be praying him up each and every day of the year for sustainability and ultimate success. Otherwise it’s all fueled by George Soros and the oligarchy.
God Bless the United States of America.
