En Garde in the bunker…

Echoing “Tony-Petroski” from the thread: “So, what now? House Republicans could do nothing else but investigate one corrupt government scandal after another for the next two years.” Start by defunding the FBI. We’re told through the “mainstream media” that de-funding the police is wildly popular. So, since the House has the power of the purse, let’s give the people what they want; as for the second act, impeaching FJB and his several minions sounds about right. It should be illegal, after all, to accept bribes from the communist Chinese.” Boom!

Using the words “Republican” and “courage” in the same sentence is enough to raise a skeptical eyebrow or two, or three, or more, and anyone who still thinks working within the established system can achieve good outcomes isn’t particularly thinking outside the box. The incoming Republican House has a window of about 120 days to get deadly serious about fumigating the FBI, which should start by asking the DC Circuit to appoint a Special Council to investigate Jim Baker, Christopher Wray, Bagpipes Bill Barr, and the entire cast of characters – with whom we are now so familiar – at the same time they open their own Select Committee to investigate the FBI, the DOJ and the persecution of political adversaries.

Following on from yesterday’s Sundance and his Conservative Treehouse article on Elon Musk (available down below), Ms. Julie Kelly, one of America’s finest journalists, speaks truth on the side of power today with her own expose’ on American Greatness titled Now What?: “Elon Musk’s one-man crusade to expose the inner workings of the technology giant he now owns is admirable at a time when the level of courage needed to confront the massive beast of government, Silicon Valley, the Biden regime, and traditional media is frighteningly low.”

And boy did she ever get that right! Musk now faces the withering wrath of Chuck Schumer’s Six Ways from Sunday gang, the mighty organs of U.S. State Security. What every politician knows, on both sides of the aisle, is that those mighty organs are totaly, completely, and resoundingly out of control. Think of what they did during the “Trump” administration. Imagine what they are now doing in the “FJB” administration. Look out down there Mr. Musk. “Pound ’em“!

The aforementioned Julie Kelly, American Greatness: ‘Now What?’ …

The release of the Twitter Files, for the most part, confirms what Donald Trump and his supporters knew in 2020. Big Tech drastically suppressed information damaging to Joe Biden—his son’s overseas financial dealings and the Democratic Party’s plans to ensure Biden’s victory with an unprecedented flood of mail-in ballots—before Election Day.

The series of posts by independent journalists Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, and Bari Weiss reveal internal communications between top executives as they contorted company policy on the fly to accommodate the Democrats’ political motives. Taibbi kicked off the party on December 2 with a series of tweets detailing how Twitter banned the New York Post’s reporting on Hunter Biden’s laptop and continued to defend the move even after some company honchos admitted it was indefensible. “By this point ‘everyone knew this was fucked,’ said one former employee, but the response was essentially to err on the side of . . . continuing to err,” Taibbi wrote while posting screenshots of chat messages between decision-makers.

Weiss followed up by outlining Twitter’s shadow banning—a practice that former CEO Jack Dorsey repeatedly denied—aimed at conservative influencers such as Dan Bongino and Charlie Kirk in 2020. This built up to a fever pitch that climaxed on January 6, 2021, when a four-hour disturbance finally gave Twitter and other social media behemoths the excuse they had been hoping for to fulfill Big Tech’s dream of permanently deplatforming the president. “The bulk of the internal debate leading to Trump’s ban took place in those three January days,” Taibbi explained, referring to January 6, 7, and 8, the day Trump was banned. “However, the intellectual framework was laid in the months preceding the Capitol riots.” The pressure campaign to boot Trump, Shellenberger further disclosed, came from both internal and external forces including “Former First Lady @michelleobama , tech journalist @karaswisher , @ADL , high-tech VC @ChrisSacca.”

Members of Twitter’s “scaled enforcement team,” employees tasked with excavating any policy nugget to rationalize the pending ban, viewed Trump “as the leader of a terrorist group responsible for violence/deaths comparable to Christchurch shooter or Hitler,” one internal post read on January 8. A few hours later, Twitter announced the decision to suspend Trump’s account permanently; Twitter employees cheered. At least 70,000 Trump-supporting accounts also were purged in the days following. [+] … The Republican National Committee should pursue legal action for the unlawful campaign contributions made by Big Tech to the Biden presidential campaign—and it might not hurt to sue the Biden campaign for failing to report large corporate donations, too. Ditto for Republican candidates and elected officials deplatformed or suppressed in the 2020 and 2022 elections.

Elon Musk’s one-man crusade to expose the inner workings of the technology giant he now owns is admirable at a time when the level of courage needed to confront the massive beast of government, Silicon Valley, the Biden regime, and traditional media is frighteningly low. Courage, as Billy Graham once said, is contagious. Let’s hope House Republicans can catch a really potent case of it, and soon. [end]

Julie Kelly now what? the answer…. When ‘law’ is nothing but coverup bagpipes Bondo Barr loses it totally ..

So the end goal of Republican investigations would be to prevent government agencies from using socialist media companies as proxies to control the free speech of individuals. What, pray tell, is the penalty for the federal government violating the First Amendment? Is there one, even? Doubtful since no one can find any.

It certainly appears the only recourse after any investigation is for individuals to sue other individuals, assuming that is the reason for Julie Kelly’s statement that state GOP officials must find a state law under which to prosecute the people responsible. Which means a long drawn-out process that may or may not be successful.

In the meantime, there’s nothing to prevent further violations by the corrupt DOJ/FBI and the rest of the vast alphabet-soup intelligence apparatus when there are willing collaborators within socialist media companies and Pravda media. Exposing the fascist regime is one thing. Julie Kelly now what? the answer….

Good for Elon confirming with data what we already knew. The biggest bombshell is the proof of government interference in private corporations. One suspects the control of socialist media goes much deeper than advising suppression of the laptop from hell, or even the White House giving orders on who to cancel. Socialist Media is under government surveillance 24/7 monitoring every word. It is an arm of the security state. And THAT isn’t going to change. Period!

And on that note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – President Donald John Trump – MAGA! KAG!
