Perhaps now maybe his cellmate Banana-Kamala will have the time to get to the “root cause” of things through “the science”. Since she doesn’t have to make a trip anywhere she’ll have all the time in the world to delve right in and get her hands dirty. Oh wait!
While I think of it, Ken Cuccinelli’s piece in The Federalist hit the mark, as he describes Gov. Abbot as “engaging in political theater”. According to Cuccinelli, if he really wanted to stop this, he could do it at the point of a gun by sending every single one of them back from whence they came. Plus, some Fox hosts need to be constantly reminded that they’re not migrants from Texas, they are literally illegal aliens from all over this planet, and the idea is to bury Washington DC with these people! Until that is, some demoMarxocrats have enough commonsense to understand that liberty ain’t free – it comes at a great cost and sacrifice.
Governor Abbott seems to have solved the illegal immigration problem very succinctly, which has obviously been very well received by Trump Republicans. Americans should thank him for his efforts, stop worrying about the issue, and get on with making America Great AGAIN!.
Debra Heine, American Greatness: ‘First Bus from Texas arrives in DC filled with Illegals’
The first bus from Texas filled with dozens of illegal immigrants arrived in Washington D.C., Wednesday morning, blocks away from the U.S. Capitol building, Fox News reported.
The bus pulled up right in front of a television news studio, Fox News correspondent John Roberts reported on Twitter.
Federal officials were on the scene to process the migrants, who were each wearing a I.D. bracelet, and carrying a manila envelope.
A week ago, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced that he was directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to transport migrants released from federal custody in Texas to the nation’s capital.
The chartered buses were among several new measures announced by Abbott to help Texas deal with the massive influx of migrants expected to cross the border after the regime ends the Trump era Title 42 immigration order.
“A zero-tolerance policy for unsafe vehicles smuggling migrants across the border is being implemented immediately,” Abbott said during a press conference last Wednesday, adding that the Texas Department of Public Safety will conduct “enhanced safety inspections” as vehicles cross at international points of entry.
“To help local officials – because communities are being overwhelmed by hordes of illegal immigrants who are being dropped off by the Biden Administration – Texas is providing charter buses for these illegal immigrants who have been dropped off to Washington, D.C.,” the Republican governor said. “We are sending them to the United States capital where the Biden administration will be able to more immediately address the needs of the people that they are allowing to come across our border.”
According to Fox News, the bus came from the Del Rio sector in Texas, and was filled with dozens of illegal aliens from Colombia, Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. It pulled up near the Capitol Building at approximately 8 a.m. local time.
Upon the bus’s arrival in Washington, D.C., individuals disembarked one by one except for family units who exited together. They checked in with officials and had wristbands they were wearing cut off before being told they could go.
According to TDEM, Abbott’s plan is already working. The agency told Fox News on Monday that many of the communities that originally reached out for support – from the Rio Grande Valley to Terrell County – say the federal government stopped dropping immigrants in their towns since Abbott’s announcement on April 6.
Some had questioned whether Abbott’s plan to bus migrants was genuine. The White House dismissed it as a “publicity stunt.” Even Texas state Rep. Matt Schaefer, a Republican, called it a “gimmick.”
Abbott tweeted on Wednesday that his actions are necessary because Joe Biden has failed to secure the border.
“Biden refuses to come see the mess he’s made at the border,” he said. “So Texas is bringing the border to him.” [end]
