“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” ~ Winston Churchill
Back in the heady days of 2014, McConnell, Boehner, Rubio, Ryan and the rest of the GOP establishment campaigned on cutting spending, defunding Obamacare, ending illegal immigration, defending marriage as between one man/one woman, strengthening the military, and turning over Roe v Wade. When the dust finally settled and they got back to Washington and opened the new legislative session on January 6th., 2015, the first thing they did was to pass a 1.1 trillion dollar spending bill, fund Obamacare, and attempt to legalize somewhere between 11 and 30 million illegals. And then they had the audacity to label We the People who had voted them into majorities in both houses, “deranged ignorant racists” for being outraged at being betrayed. Any questions?
Well, yes as a matter of fact – many.
It seems that the establishment, the leftists, the globalists (redundant, I know) have just about tried nearly everything they can to bring a “fundamental change” under a “new world order” to the political structure of the United States. Perish the thought that Representatives and Senators would now have to uphold the overwhelming will of We the People who gave them a comfortable majority, such an ugly thought to the lot of them. The people stand fast with resolve to take back their government and their GOP, only to get a slap right back in the face for expecting the elect to do as they promised.
The fact that walls of protection exist around places like the White House, and mansions the likes of Speaker Paul Ryan’s Milwaukee castle, mirrors the fact that nations around the globe have “walled” borders also, and protect them for a reason, a concept that seems to be making a comeback and none too soon. With regard to the United States we must desperately hope that the promised wall from the GWB presidency be set in place pronto in time to save the nation before the last vestiges of the sovereign rights of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” (known as freedom) are swept away along with her wealth; that is of course, if you can describe as “wealth” 20 trillion in debt and a massive trade imbalance under the umbrella of a Federal Reserve gone insane.
Why Donald Trump is relevant is this. He girds for battle against those who think that globalism is the answer to the world’s woes and who care not what, why, or who they violate and destroy in the process to achieve it; the big, bad, bold United States of America being the one nation standing in the way of such a takeover. It isn’t insignificant that the United States Constitution has been labeled the “Grand Experiment” since its inception. A Constitutional Republic is the only form of government in the world where We the People created the liberty concept of being over the government and not beneath it. Despite liberal progressive Marxist efforts to constantly undermine it, the Republic stands tall today as the reason why people from evil, tyrannical regimes constantly strive to escape their hellholes to come to the United States for the very same reason millions of others have over the centuries – “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. The United States is not just the grand experiment anymore but is now the Grand Success with a Constitutional structure which is the envy of the world.
We are now faced however, with those who would seek to undermine We the People’s position, selling us out with trade agreements, concocted treaties, United Nations globalist desires stealing our wealth and squandering it. The citizenry no longer having the full and only say in their own elections, for both who votes, and even who runs for office, as we now have illegal aliens running for offices and winning them in local races. Manchurian Candidate Trojan Horse illegal insurgents with no allegiance to the nation attempting to take over, and all with the help of the globalists.
Why Donald Trump is relevant is this – We The People have a major task ahead of us and that is the restoration of our nation while at the same time being careful not to destroy what we so cherish in the process. This fight is far from over and it will not end with a mere single election, but the battle has now been joined. The globalists were not counting on a multi-billionaire with a patriotic streak standing in their way.
Do not discount the wisdom of We the People. King Arthur once again gathers his Knights and has entered the field of battle, the people with him making a stand. The peasants sharpen their pitchforks. Mordred is now worried and will likely launch a preemptive strike, or try to maneuver to undermine the gains by the people. No – Do not discount the wisdom of We the People. Thus far we have been fortunate that the opposition global elitists have done just that.
And that is why Donald Trump is relevant.

Donald Trump’s seemingly unstoppable march to the nomination has intensified “establishment” Republican criticism of The Donald, especially after his big win in the Super Tuesday primaries and his trademark insults and evasions during Thursday’s debate. Indeed, Trump has been explicitly targeted by super pacs, sitting Congressmen, Mitt Romney, a Twitter campaign, and an anti-Trump statement signed by 100 foreign policy experts. Many Republicans are publicly threatening to sit the election out or even vote for Hillary if Trump is the nominee. As usual, too much of the focus is on personality rather than the long-term cultural trends that have culminated in the Trump candidacy.
In his critics’ view, Trump’s juvenile vulgarity, ignorance of policy and facts, checkered business history, dubious hiring practices, shady schemes like Trump University, blatant lies and flip-flops, and low national poll numbers in a hypothetical contest with Hillary Clinton all point to a disaster in November, with the Democrats taking the presidency and perhaps the Senate, with one or more “living Constitution” Supreme Court justices to follow. Or not. Perhaps this is an election when millions of people, including some working-class Democrats, are eager for revenge against the arrogant elites of both parties who look down on those who have guns and religion, but no Ivy League degrees and polysyllabic vocabularies.
