En Garde in the bunker…

My, my, my, these continuing document dump(s) from Rep. Doug Collins – Judiciary Committee ranking member – would appear to be nothing short of a proverbial treasure trove of cover-up shenanigans from folks at the very highest levels of the alphabet government security agencies; as in FBI, CIA, NSA (Comey, Brennan, Clapper). And a whole host of others involved in the current explosive circular firing squad.

Victor Davis Hanson has an interesting piece linked in the body of Conservative Treehouse down below, in which he describes in American Greatness, the strange way top U.S. national security officials are all weirdly pointing the finger at each other now that the Mueller report has come up empty.

Former CIA Director John Brennan is pointing at former FBI Director James Comey. Comey returning the favor. Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper is pointing at Comey. Comey glowering at former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe. McCabe pointing right back at Comey.

Well, of course the answers to that are myriad, but the simple one is that the liars have become exposed. Plus Hillary Rob’em lost. From my British upbringing and perspective, the ‘dossier’ was never an intelligence product. ‘Dossier’ is a very British word covering a whole lot of meaning. It was a prop in a stage play necessary to convey a narrative. This elaborate ploy has the hallmarks of British scheming all over it. As to where and how or for what purpose, who knows?

The Christopher Steele dossier was called “Crown Material” by FBI agents within the small group during their 2016 political surveillance operation. The “Crown” description reflects the unofficial British intelligence aspect to the dossier as provided by Steele.

Mr. Gowdy: Do you recall … when I use the phrase ‘crown material,’ what does that refer to?

Mr. Comey: I think it refers to material that … now called the Steele dossier. I mean, I could be wrong about that, but I think that’s the name that the analysts use for that material.

Recently, former House Oversight Chairman Trey Gowdy stated there are emails from former FBI Director James Comey that outline instructions from CIA Director John Brennan to include the “Crown Material” within the highly political Intelligence Community Assessment.

Specifically – as outlined by Gowdy – the wording of the Comey email is reported to say:

…”Brennan is insisting the Crown Material be included in the intel assessment.”

More Victor Davis Hanson: Given the narratives of the last three years, and the protestations that the dossier was accurate or at least was not proven to be unproven, why are these former officials arguing at all? Did not implanting the dossier into the presidential briefing give it the necessary imprimatur that allowed the serial leaks to the press at least to be passed on to the public and thereby apprise the people of the existential danger that they faced?  (read more)

And the other thing is, when AG William (Bill) Barr at his hearing refused to list the ‘small group’ looking into the coup, I immediately felt that was a big ‘F-you’ to the DemoMarxist globalists, furthered along when ‘Blumenidiot’ asked for the notes to Barr’s call with Mueller and he refused point blank; opinion solidified in my head.

With all the co-conspirators pointing fingers at one another it will be hard to determine who is most guilty. I suggest we take the top fifty or so of them, put ’em all in an arena, and give ’em (trigger warning!) assault weapons. Tell ’em the last one alive will be granted a pardon.

After all, there’s nothing like a good round of circular Russian roulette to settle a score or two.

All these rumors about no power are designed to make the crooks comfy. I mean why the heck else would you do both?
