Sundance, Conservative Treehouse says: [This morning] ‘President Trump was scheduled to meet with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer for a discussion over an infrastructure spending bill. However, after partisan remarks by Nancy Pelosi accusing President Trump of a cover-up, any hope of negotiating an infrastructure bill collapsed.[end]

And no wonder.

The president had earlier tweeted: ‘So sad that Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will never be able to see or understand the great promise of our Country. They can continue the Witch Hunt which has already cost $40M and been a tremendous waste of time and energy for everyone in America, or get back to work.’

So between Brad Parscale and Trump (Parscale has been appointed 2020 Campaign Manager) things are definitely shaping up for it to be an interesting, if not raucous, campaign for 2020.

Which is all by way of explaining why I interspersed the update with today’s post (and by the way, the video of Trump’s hastily-arranged, but enthralling presser is available down below).

Ofttimes videos are inaccurately described as ‘must watch’, but this one is accurate and needs its own space – with a sprinkle of ‘Thomas Paine’s’ thrown in.

Honoring our forefathers means honoring our future generations. Honoring all those that have sacrificed their lives and livelihood for this great country means taking up the same responsibilities so our children and grandchildren can be passed the torch of knowledge, freedom, and yes – those same responsibilities.

We have been gifted with yet another great leader and representative of WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE in President Trump. Like great leaders in the past he leads and inspires us to be the great people that we are.

God Bless America, President Trump, and each and everyone of us — but I repeat myself!
