George Orwell’s masterpiece has morphed into “Animal Farm as Fed Reserve” …
“The creatures outside looked from pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which .. This work was strictly voluntary, but any animal who absented himself from it would have his rations reduced by half .. Can you not understand that liberty is worth more than just ribbons?”
~ George Orwell, Animal Farm ~
Call me cynical or something worse, but why is it every time whoever sits in the chair of the vaunted Federal Reserve (which in and of itself as un-Constitutional as it is secretive, reeks of narcissistic elitism) comes across as a pointy-headed effete intellectual from some lofty high-perched Ivy League building or other, reading from prepared-in-advance papers in a language barely 1% of the populace would hardly recognize as understandable, let alone worth any substance? “Since the financial crisis and the depths of the recession, substantial progress has been made in restoring the economy to health and in strengthening the financial system,” she said. “Still, there is more to do.”
More to do? I’d say! You know there is a look of incompetence that you can see in people, and it seems like everybody in Washington has it, starting with the fraud in the White House. This has not always been that way and it didn’t all start with the current administration, but this bunch has it worse than I have ever seen with any previous administration by far. 6.6% unemployment?! Doesn’t anybody realize that number is a hopelessly goal seeking, manipulated number that now represents nothing other than the intent of a few pens? The Fed should be calling attention to how corrupted that number has become, not basing policy decisions off it. Taken for what it’s worth it appears the Fed is complicit in the cooked numbers that are being tossed around as a veil over how bad the economy really is. The Fed really does need to be disbanded, and the government purse put back where it belongs – In the hands of WE THE PEOPLE. Period.
From pig to man, and from man to pig, and from pig to man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which.
Animal Farm as Fed Reserve indeed. Continues…
