Well whattayaknow, everything he said is coming to fruition. He warned us… The “goofball” all the liberal-leftist-Alinskyite-DemoMarxists said had a “swagger” in his step (“in Texas we call it walking” was his riposte) has his vindication. Give me the “redneck from Texas” and you can have your “Alinskyite-DemoMarxist-Muslim from Chicago” back.
While I’m at it, he warned us more than once; he also gave multiple warnings of the impending economic collapse in 2008 due to the real estate meltdown that was caused by the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act. The repeal had bipartisan support and was signed by Clinton, so I’m not trying to place partisan blame. I’m just saying GWB had very little if anything to do with it, yet the ignorant leftists still try to blame him. Throw in the “Bwarney/Chwis” Dodd/Frank fiasco and you had a volcanic eruption of titanic proportions. Nice job DemoMarxists.

Thursday night on The Kelly File, Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly played part of a speech given by President George Bush in 2007. Bush was responding to increasing calls in Washington, led by Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, to pull all American troops out of Iraq. Bush warned of the dire circumstances for the people of Iraq and for the terrorist threat to America if politicians over-ruled the wisdom of our military commanders on the ground and pulled out prematurely:
“I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. To begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous for Iraq, for the region, and for the United States. It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al Qaeda. It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we’d allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan. It would mean increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.”
Once he became President, Obama did just what Bush warned against. He over-ruled his military advisors and ended our presence in Iraq. Since then, as predicted, there have been mass killings at the hands of al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists, those terrorists have had a safe haven, the future of Iraq has been surrendered and is now on the verge of becoming a radical Islamist state. And, also as predicted by Bush, American troops are slowly and incrementely creeping back into Iraq preparing to confront our enemy. An enemy that has grown stronger and deadlier in the six year vacation America has taken from the Global War on Terror under our current Commander-in-Chief.
