Trump & Second Amendment:More

Go Ahead, Make ...

Go Ahead, Make …

Judge Napolitano: “The historical reality of the Second Amendment’s protection of the right to keep and bear arms is not that it protects the right to shoot deer. It protects the right to shoot tyrants, and it protects the right to shoot at them effectively, with the same instruments they would use upon us.”

Our Founders said it even simpler: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

And another Founder put it this way: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” ~Thomas Jefferson

Which is all by way of remembering that the entire point of the Second Amendment is to instill in our public servants a healthy respect (if not downright fear) of their sovereign masters (i.e., We the People). The Second Amendment does not grant, but merely recognizes our natural right to arm ourselves with state-of-the-art weaponry to such a level that the fools in the feral government should fear for their lives, such that they never be tempted to overstep their limited and temporary powers.

Which is why it drives Hillary Rodham Clinton and her liberal-leftist loonies absolutely up a wall. Especially when they can twist and pretzel words around into something vile and vicious as I pointed out in yesterday’s post.

The real reason that Trump’s innocuous comment met with such outrage is that the Lamestream EneMedia is the propaganda arm of the DemoMarxist Party and for no other reason at all. It is also why a far more egregious call for violence and assassination of Obama by Billary (himself/herself) the barbaric butcher of Benghazi back in 2008 almost totally ignored by the self-same Lamestream EneMedia.

Feral government servants have no business interfering with our natural right to arm ourselves with the latest in state-of-the-art personal weaponry at least equal to that possessed by feral government thugs. (Actually, with few exceptions, such as border control and perhaps the FBI, no feral bureaucrats should be issued guns. When they need law enforcement, let them go to the local sheriff.)

Gun ownership is not a right granted by any law or even the Constitution. It is a natural right of man merely recognized by the Constitution. And yes, it is a bit frightening for our so called elected servants when We the People, the sovereign citizens they supposedly serve, are as well armed as the military, but that is the whole point, isn’t it?

Of course, self defense, defense of family and hunting — in that order — are natural rights, too, but the primary purpose of a well armed citizenry is to strike an ongoing undercurrent of well placed fear into the hearts of our feral government servants, lest they forget who are the servants and who are the sovereigns.

A reminder from one of their own: “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable.” ~ John F. Kennedy

The 2nd Amendment guarantees all the others, so is that a threat? No. It is a prediction of a reaction to a government that is entirely off the rails. So, STAY ON THE RAILS!

The last paragraph of the piece coming up from Raymond Ibrahim on the same theme I had yesterday concludes: “This is an historical, proven fact, and why liberal media and elite are, if only subconsciously, going crazy against Trump: he dared mention — and thus legitimize — the one thing that must never be mentioned, not even as a remote consideration, because it is the one thing guaranteed to overthrow them: rebellion. Hence the media circus of shock, awe, and outrage: it’s all meant to quickly rebury this briefly exhumed and dangerous idea from the public’s eye.”

frontpage_logoWhat is the real reason behind all the “outrage” at Donald Trump’s Second Amendment comment? During a campaign rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, Trump said, “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish the Second Amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick — if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks.  Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is. I don’t know.”

Could it be that he touched on the one option — the one that must never be named — that actually works against tyrants, including the domineering leftist crybullies currently entrenched in positions of authority: armed revolution?

You see, the one thing every American is indoctrinated in from cradle to grave is that “violence is never the answer.” And why should it be? If we want change, we have the right to vote, speak freely, and even protest peacefully.

But what happens when these rights slowly erode, losing form and meaning? When elections become a circus and the presidency something of an oligarchy; when the voting public has been incrementally dumbed down generation after generation and programmed to vote in certain ways (emotionalism, sensationalism) catered to by the media?
