South by Southwest leads the way. And it isn’t just Southwest Airlines. American, Delta and United are all following suit – Southwest just has some of the most independent employees within the airline industry. Traditionally SWA was employee-centered and when Herb Kelleher ran it, it was consistently one of the best places ever to work. Yours truly in a former life did many many Book Fairs within their headquarters’ facility and it was always a fun (and generous) place to be when engaged on raising funds for the innocents. To this very day, many pilots are former military and they simply aren’t going to let this pass without saying something.

With both Southwest and American based in Dallas, and a State where Gov. Abbott has forbidden mandates, this likely could end up before the Supreme Court sooner rather than later. FYI, American scheduled their mandate deadline for November 24 – the Wednesday before THANKSGIVING. This appears to be totally intentional, much along the lines of OBO#44 “making it hurt” when the government was forcibly shut down. Maybe it’s going to take actions like this to wake up some DemoMarxocrats that we’re more than “done and dusted” with their nonsense.

What’s happening today would never, ever have happened under Herb Kelleher. When you have CEO’s more interested in appeasing political mandates than running their companies successfully, you end up with the kind of mess we’re seeing on a national scale. This for instance – “…we have no viable choice but to comply with the U.S.government mandate for employees to be vaccinated…”

Erm – No, you have a choice which is very simple. You can tell the tyrants your employees refuse to comply and you can’t do anything about it. Let them take SW Airlines to court and litigate the issue together with the SW Pilots Union. Otherwise, brother, you’re out of business and as a long-time shareholder I’m going to sue your silly ass.

At the end of the day of course, it’s all a matter of choice and not a mandate. There are those who are already vaxed who support 100% those who have reasons to refuse vaccination. We shut down our economy for a plague that has a 98.8% survival rate, while never in the history of mankind has any civilization taken such drastic steps. It’s always a choice and not a mandate from some crazy lunatic whose ChiCom puppet masters stole an election. Period. Over. Out.

A group of transportation workers led by airline pilots speak out about the danger of forced medical procedures represented by the the vaccine mandate. This video from US Freedom Flyers might help explain the current airline industry issues that have recently been in the news. From their website:

The co-founder of US Freedom Flyers, Joshua Yoder, appeared on Fox News with Tucker Carlson earlier this evening to discuss: (full link below) As we previously outlined, this is not about vaccines per se’, this is more about a slippery slope of having the government dictate how you can live your life and earn a living. If they can force you to have a medical procedure, and then carry documentation of that procedure in order to work… why can’t they force you to get a small electronic implant of your identification, which would coincidentally include your medical authorizations for work? [+] … It is obvious Anthony Fauci also knows a federal mandate will lose in court when challenged. The fact that Fauci brings up state vaccination requirements for education, as examples of historically forced vaccinations is both a strawman argument and structurally false. There has never been a FEDERAL mandate for any vaccination. All the vaccinations Fauci discusses (ex. his kids) were state mandates. Each state also has a different set of standards and laws for children and vaccines. There is nothing federal.

The federal government is attempting to set up a federal work authorization standard for private businesses. Non compliance means you cannot work, or you lose your existing job if your employer goes along with the government demand. THAT alone should alarm everyone. [end]

So in conclusion – until and unless OSHA provides the regimentation, there *IS* no federal mandate, period. And if OSHA does so – a completely unconstitutional action unsupported in ANY reading of the Constitution – it’ll get litigated immediately, as the idiotic E.O. already is being for a variety of reasons. If the SWA Board had working brain cells, they’d have awaited the outcome rather than just jumped off the cliff like the idiots they are.

And so here we are, a quarter of a millennium later, with, once again, a distant, arrogant, government, indifferent to our interests, presuming to try to rule us. It wouldn’t be terribly surprising, I don’t think, if the consequences of that now are much different from what they were then. A fairly minor tax on tea and an equally minor tax on printed materials that affected relatively few people were significant causes of the American Revolution. It wasn’t so much the taxes themselves, it was that the taxes were being levied by a distant, arrogant, government indifferent to the wishes of the people it presumed to rule.

The “Loss of Freedom” is only for the second class of people. The “club members” will continue to live in expanded privilege and luxury that they’ve created out of our expense. Herb Kelleher will likely still be rolling in his grave until true justice is truly engaged!
