As somewhat predictable, a ton of people have fallen off “Train California”. Those in the ditch are being left to die, or given the means to off themselves. It’s a slow and inhumane way to let a despised population kill themselves. Cheap housing for the illegal replacements will come from bankrupting landlords and buying up properties for pennies on the dollar. It seems!
It truly boggles the mind that anyone, other than fellow “elites,” supported Newsom’s dystopian ideas and obvious indifference to human suffering, yet it’s a huge state, and if you don’t have to live in the ghetto cities and look at the mess first hand, it can easily be ignored.
Having in past years done some really good business in California from various outposts both local and abroad, yours truly had good friends resident there who were quite proud to send me pictures particularly on birthdays, anniversaries etc., of absolutely wonderful scenarios of folks obviously enjoying life to the full. What once was a fairly pragmatic philosophy of helping the less fortunate has somehow morphed into an extremist view that we must help everyone in the world.
Just as we will never be “safe” until Covid is completely eradicated, the goals are seemingly impossible. Yet the believers say we must keep trying, even if we destroy ourselves in the process.

Had Larry Elder somehow managed to prevail and overcome the election cheating, there might well have been hope that California was actually turning back toward reality. The tracks over the ravine however have been summarily washed out overnight. Since there are lots of other trains occupying the same track, the train of commerce will eventually careen into the abyss unless it is stopped.
Just as the night of November 3/4 2020, the fix was in, Newsom wasn’t recalled and the white leftists and the permanently angry blacks voted “NO” on the recall. The normal white people and maybe a slender majority of Hispanics perhaps voted “YES”, but since most big counties run by leftist demoMarxocrats counted the votes (and recounted the votes, and counted the votes again) We the (90 million+) People knew what to expect.

It’s highly unlikely the land of the Moonbats could actually have enough remaining non-Moonbats left to take back control of the tribe. However, there is a slight chance because some of the moderately insane have joined forces with the non-Moonbats to show they are not happy with the behavior from the leader of the tribe, Comrade Gavin Newsom.
Unfortunately, the heavily controlled asylum inmates are in charge of counting the tribe’s votes, and Comrade Newsom has been aggressively bribing the moderately insane elements with free stuff to regain their tribal support. Additionally, leaders from around the country have been flying in to lend their support and provide money for the bribes.
That said, most observers believe Comrade Newsom will survive the challenge to his power; thereby dooming the non-Moonbats to a life of conscription. Ballots were mailed to the tribe in mid-August. And voters could either mail their ballot via USPS union collection, or drop-off their vote in-person at drop boxes, or at their county elections office by 8:00 pm PT tonight.
(CBS) “While polls in the summer indicated a close race, a Berkeley IGS poll released Friday showed the “no” vote leading the “yes” vote 60.1%-38.5% among likely voters. Newsom’s team is confident he’ll prevail in the recall attempt, and privately, Republican campaigns in the state concede their internal polling indicates the recall will fail.” (link)
It will likely take a few days for the total results, but the preliminary stuff could come out later tonight.

Which has California having the highest aggregate basket of income, sales, property, and capital gains taxes in the nation; the highest gas and power prices in the continental United States; and arguably the worst schools and infrastructure; the largest populations of homeless, welfare recipients, illegal aliens; and, soon, criminals?”
