The Bible is replete with warnings about evildoers, and the content of leadership character. In fact, Jesus Christ himself gives stern warnings, one of which is nestled in Matthew 7:15-20 where he declares .. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves .. Ye shall know them by their fruits .. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit .. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Which brings us to Mrs. Clinton’s shady history, and why it matters.
There are many examples of what Christ describes residing in the plush, corrupt surroundings of certain buildings in Washington, D.C. where, supposedly, We The People are represented by freely-elected standard-bearers of the Constitution. I say “supposedly” because in too many recent years, we have seen more devastation emanate from these elected representatives than we have of the “good fruit” described in Matthew 7. One of the stains on the Republic, without a shadow of a doubt, is that of the Clinton’s. The very fact that every mainstream media outlet other than FNC is lauding the possibility of a presidential run from the bad fruit Mrs. Clinton, says more about the corruption evident in the media, than it does in the halls of Congress. Again, Mrs. Clinton’s shady history, and why it matters.
A few days ago I posted an archived piece from 1998 by the late Robert Bork on the severe damage perpetrated on this Republic by both Clinton’s, and why neither of them deserves to be given any more positions of influence on this nation ever again. As a follow-up closure to the Bork piece, Jeffrey T. Brown takes to the keyboard courtesy of American Thinker to emphasize the same sentiment. Mrs. Clinton’s shady history, and why it matters…
We are about to be bombarded by the mercenaries of progressivism, who will harangue us to agree that all or part of Hillary Clinton’s past has no bearing on what kind of president she would be. To a lesser degree, some have offered a variation on this theme, suggesting that when weighing Mrs. Clinton’s past, her husband’s own history should not be a factor in that analysis.
Mrs. Clinton herself, if given the chance to dictate the review of her past, would doubtless say, “What difference, at this point, does it make?” And why shouldn’t she pretend that all she has done, and that every awful, self-serving lie she has told, means nothing? Look at the heights she and her husband have scaled by pretending to be sincere, competent, or ethical, while those who know otherwise protect them from themselves. After all, such people as Mrs. Clinton bring about the social revolution that the left demands to wrest the assets and autonomy from a free people, and bestow them upon the self-righteous, and increasingly tyrannical, gods of men.
Jeffrey T. Brown continues on Mrs. Clinton’s shady history…
