Daniel Greenfield regularly invokes his own oft-repeated quote in describing the out-of-control liberal-progressive Democrats, to whit: People project their own natures onto their enemies. Liberal racism leads to a liberal obsession with conservative racism. In my own daily foray into Biblical philosophy, “as a man thinketh, so he becomes” expresses the very same sentiment.
Most conservatives believe in Individualism as a human relational philosophy. They recognize that skin color or gender does not define you, it is your mind that defines you. Liberals on the other hand, are collectivists, and you have to be a collectivist to be a racist. They believe you are defined by your skin color or gender just as a racist or sexist does. They believe in multiculturalism, not Individualism. As usual, they take the wrong side of the issue. I would even venture to declare that more conservatives invoke Dr. Martin Luther King’s rebuke of color for “the content of a man’s character” than do the Congressional Black Caucus, the NAACP, the faux reverends of the political plantation industry, and the current occupant of the White House and his racial surrogates. There, I said it (in the words of one, Mark Levin)
Progressives these days are becoming increasingly desperate. The future does not augur well for them, as their illusion is being ripped down before their very eyes. Their hare-brained schemes are crumbling; they’re getting exactly what they want, absolute power, and it doesn’t complete them, it unnerves them. They are rapidly realizing that when you have attained complete power, you become scared of losing it, and that’s when the cleansing starts. First you remove political opponents; then everyone becomes an enemy; and at that moment the revolution begins to eat its own children. Sebelius is just the latest “dog-eat-dog” example of a liberal-progressive Democrat internal execution.
In a nutshell, the liberal-progressive leftist Democrats are barking mad, the behavior of rabid dogs. They project their own neuroses onto others, and blame them for that which they are guilty of themselves. Incapable of reading the script or understanding the plot, in their universe everything is inverted. As George Orwell so brilliantly articulated in 1984, “In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act; he who controls the past controls the future. He who controls the present controls the past.” The heroes are the villains and the villains are the heroes. Which takes me to one of my favorite Biblical philosophies from Isaiah 5:20 ..
Woe unto them who call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
The perfect segue` into Daniel Greenfield’s piece from FrontPage …
The Democrat may no longer believe in God, the Constitution or even motherhood and apple pie, but he devoutly believes that somewhere out there Republicans are sitting in a sealed room and plotting to bring back the 50s.
And if not the 50s, then at least the early 60s.
The left accuses the right of being deeply paranoid. Meanwhile the left is convinced that every Republican sneeze is a racial putdown of America’s first black president since Bill Clinton. Forget about looking for Communists under every bed. The proper progressive never lies down with his or her partner of choice and their government mandated birth control from the Catholic institution with no choice in the matter without first checking their privilege and checking for conservative bigotry.Sometimes, somewhere in Kentucky or Alaska, a minor Republican functionary forwards an email depicting ObamaCare as the work of a voodoo witch doctor and the first lefty to discover it dines out on that triumphant accomplishment for a year before writing a book about it. The rest of the time, the McCarthyists of the left have to work to unpack the subtext of a random remark. When Mitch McConnell complained that Obama plays too much golf, MSNBC’s chief late night lunatic, Lawrence O’Donnell, barked that “Well, we know exactly what he’s trying to do there. He is trying to align to Tiger Woods and surely, the lifestyle of Tiger Woods with Barack Obama.”
The Calibnasian Woods didn’t actually identify as black, but that was probably because of the way Republican racism stigmatizes black people. Will the right-wing bigotry never stop?
The reinvented Democratic Party runs entirely on conspiracy theories about Republican bigotry. It complains that Republicans secretly believe that they’re a Communist conspiracy to destroy America, while their entire platform is an accusation that the Republican Party is a secret conspiracy to enslave black people. Or as the famous admirer of articulate, bright and clean-looking African-Americans, Joe Biden said, “He is going to put y’all back in chains.”
