The “enterprise” that is current day America trending towards Hillary’s dark and unaccountable fix, can be described as follows:
- Washington DC where the huge federal government doles out trillions of unaccountable tax dollars – much of it going to Democrats to buy votes and loyalty. Most federal employees are lifelong Democrats.
- New York media which is controlled by Democrats is used to promote the policies of Democrats in Washington DC.
- Major corporations and Wall Street, usually based in New York, are tied to Democrats for the billions of unaccountable tax dollars that can be used to bail them out or buy their products and services.
- Academia who only hires Democrats or leftists continue to instruct young Americans how Democrats are good and Republicans/Conservatives are bad.
- Hollywood makes movies that attack conservatives, Western culture and values, Christians, religious Jews and anyone else who is not a good leftist. Totally unaccountable.
This is quite a power structure for Republicans or conservatives to fight against, but it can be done. As Daniel Greenfield expresses it in his own comments thread:
Between Wikileaks, O’Keefe and Guccifer there is enough leaked e-mail material on Hillary and the DEMS to launch the biggest criminal investigation of a political party in US history.
But there is NO Republican opposition in the key areas of government.
And that has been the problem from the start.
John McCain blocks an investigation into Huma Abedin.
Paul Ryan blocks the impeachment of the IRS director.
Ted Cruz says it may be “unconstitutional” to ban ISIS radicals from returning to the US from foreign battlefields.
Mitch McConnell sinks Kate’s Law and proclaims to Obama and the DEMS that the REPS will NEVER use the power of the purse to shut down federal spending.
TEN Republican senators vote to confirm Loretta Lynch to run the DOJ which could not have happened without RINO collaboration.
On and on and on…
And we even see the NeverTrumpers at American Spectator and Weekly Standard already denigrating Trump’s debate performance last night and coronating Hillary in a quisling type fashion.
Cowardice, political correctness, narcissistic delusions of moral “superiority” and a craven survival instinct killed the GOP and America.
But hey, let’s just blame Donald Trump for not being a polished high school debate champion.
PS … win or lose (and I still think Trump has a fighting chance) … in the end it will be about the level of RESISTANCE you bring to the battle against Hillary and her dark forces. And if the electoral battle is lost then we move on to the next phase of resistance.
This is FPM. So I want to invoke the memory of one of the 20th century’s most heroic displays of resistance against gigantic odds. The Warsaw Ghetto Uprising
Find out about it. Breathe in its spirit. And go forward.
Dark and unaccountable
Hillary Clinton, of all people, summed up this debate and this election best.
“What kind of country are we going to be?”
The Evita of Arkansas is a compulsive liar who has never told the truth in her life. But this time around she was right. This election does not come down to the personalities. It comes down to the kind of country we are going to have. And in the third debate, the one that took a break from the petty haranguing of media lackeys like Lester Holt and Martha Raddatz, the issues took center stage.
The core issue came into focus with the very first question asked by Chris Wallace. Wallace asked Hillary and Trump if their vision for the Supreme Court was based on the Constitution or not. Hillary launched into a spiel about a Supreme Court that would stand for class warfare and gay rights. The only time she mentioned the Constitution was when she insisted that the Senate was constitutionally obligated to confirm Obama’s nominee. That is her vision of the Constitution; a document that grants her power to reshape the country without regard to the Founders or any previously existing rights or freedoms.
It fell to Trump to speak of justices who would “interpret the Constitution the way the founders wanted it interpreted”. And that is the core issue. Personalities and politicians come and go. Today’s trending topic has been forgotten a day later. Outrages explode like fireworks and then fizzle out.
The weapons of mass distraction have been deployed and detonated. They keep going off in blasts of media gunpowder to divert our attention from whether we will live under the Constitution or under the Hillary.
