Watching the implosion of the U.S.A. and its institutions is a fascinating encounter. Masks are dropping in every institution and nations and peoples the world over are paying attention. To yours truly, this is a good thing.

I now know for instance, without a shadow of a doubt that everything in politics, propaganda media, big Pharma, banking, pro sports etc is more than likely, genuinely fake. And I’m OK with that. Reality is the slaughter in Utah and scores of other venues of 5 children and 3 adults. Drug overdose fatalities in the tens of thousands annually.

I have absolutely no idea what happened, but it is possible that the stresses put on families and individuals is likely reaching a true crisis. Over $100 Billion sent to Ukraine, $1.7 trillion squandered. Yet average folks are asked to pay more for basics like heat, light and food.

Reminiscing going on way back in my getting to be long life, nothing I hate worse than a supposed ‘journalist’ who – instead of interviewing their guest – argues with the guest attempting to prove them wrong. Wasn’t it Lesley Stahl the 60 Minutes interviewer who kept arguing with President Trump a while back that the Hunter laptop story wasn’t really a thing, trying to prove him wrong because “we can’t verify it”; that one?

Well it’s pretty darned sure you can’t verify it when you’ve got government intelligence and law-enforcement agencies lying about it, or when you’re all too willing to play along because you’re part of the demoMarxocrat media auxiliary branch. Or something!

It’s forever been the Press-Corps conceit that they were great champions of the common man, uncovering and revealing government lies and corruption – so where’s Woodward and Bernstein when they’re needed? Oh, silly me, I forgot – they only go after Republicans, not Democrats It’s likely a prerequisite for CNN, MSNBC, FOX and the rest of them. In a decade their ratings will be 50% less than today.

As far as the argument that this delay hurts the Country and keeps us from doing our work or it leaves us vulnerable, these Nitwits have been running things for decades and we’re $31T+ in debt and are thereby a debtor Nation. After 6 Rounds of voting I see 201+212 = 413 UniParty, self-absorbed egotists in a deadlock, with 20 Patriots left to die in exile once it all gets sorted out! Mmmmm…..

Debra Heine, American Greatness: ‘Majority of the Vote for House Speaker for the Sixth time’….

Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Wednesday failed to garner the 218 votes needed to secure the House speakership three more times, bringing the total number of failed attempts to six.

In the sixth round of voting, 20 stalwart Republican lawmakers voted for Rep. Byron Donalds of Florida instead of McCarthy, and one—Rep. Victoria Spartz of Indiana—voted present.

The House then voted to adjourn until 8:00 ET Wednesday evening.

Republicans were reportedly planning to appoint four members from each side to negotiate a path forward on choosing the House speaker.

Earlier Wednesday, former president Donald Trump urged Republicans to unite around McCarthy.

“Some really good conversations took place last night, and it’s now time for all of our GREAT Republican House Members to VOTE FOR KEVIN, CLOSE THE DEAL, TAKE THE VICTORY, & WATCH CRAZY NANCY PELOSI FLY BACK HOME TO A VERY BROKEN CALIFORNIA, THE ONLY SPEAKER IN U.S. HISTORY TO HAVE LOST THE “HOUSE” TWICE! REPUBLICANS, DO NOT TURN A GREAT TRIUMPH INTO A GIANT & EMBARRASSING DEFEAT. IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE, YOU DESERVE IT.” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Kevin McCarthy will do a good job, and maybe even a GREAT JOB – JUST WATCH!” he added.

In a subsequent post, Trump apologetically noted that he had also once urged Republicans to vote for Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell: “If Republicans are going to fight, we ought to be fighting Mitch McConnell and his domineering, China loving BOSS, I mean wife, Coco Chow. The harm they have done to the Republican Party is incalculable. Today, he couldn’t be elected “Dog Catcher” in Kentucky (Sadly, he only won because of my Endorsement, went up 21 points – SORRY!)” Trump wrote on Truth Social. [-]

The previously insufferable Hannitus Interruptus has been on a downward spiral ever since his wife caught him in an affair with Ainsley Earhardt and divorced him.  Immediately thereafter, with Fox News holding leverage over his ability to pay the support needed, he has been unwatchable in the extreme.   However, that said, even at the lowest possible threshold of credibility, Hannity finds a way to go even deeper into the hole of irrelevance with this interview.

Sean Hannity invites Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert onto his television show so that she can listen to him tell her what her position is regarding his good friend Kevin McCarthy. This is peak moonbattery from the ridiculous pundit. [-]

Allow me to let you in on a little secret: We have a divided government. That means the amount of actual governing that is going to get done is close to zero. No Speaker of the House with a 4-vote majority is going to “secure the border“. It’s a worthy and important goal, but not one on which we’re going to make meaningful progress before 2024.

The most important role of the House for the next two years, and about the only one it has a snowball’s chance of actually carrying out, is as an investigative body against Biden and the various alphabet agencies. The intrepid 20 Freedom Caucus members represent the mood of WE, the People, more than the 200 status quo establishment “go along to get along” career Deep Staters. I’m not surprised McCarthy is having to fight for the speakership. Most Republicans across the country would be more frustrated by another “status quo coronation”.

As additional voting gets underway right now, there are reports that McCarthy is now negotiating with Democrats on some sort of deal that would secure the needed votes. One can only hope and pray that isn’t true. Hannity jukes Boebert on McCarthy.
