To cut straight to the chase, climate models can be run against past weather eras for which we have data, thus no climate model can be considered that does not correctly predict the weather, say, from 1865-1875, without some kind of cheating. One cannot think such a model exists except in the most general of terms, being as it is, a fool’s game.

Rush Limbaugh was the first media figure out of the gate against the climate hysteria decades ago, saying that when you use computer models instead of real data, you are bound to get skewed and erroneous results which is exactly what’s been happening. While it’s nice to know some scientists here and there are catching up to the rest of us (where is common sense, let alone statistics?), they have a long and hard row to hoe against committed Marxists who want to perpetuate the climate change lies. They’d better organize or perish.

To be sure, climate change has never been about a changing climate ever since Al Gore ripped it from academia and used it to create fear so the left could sieve opportunity for power. Only Leftists and their useful idiots in government, academia, the media, and corporate rent seekers to name only a few in Western culture, actually believe that mankind can control the temperature of the earth. They’re the same people who believe that there’s a difference between sex and gender and that men can change from a man to a woman and vice versa. We live in an age of unreasonable prevarication.

Everybody – well, most people – knows this from personal experience. Walk along the shoreline of a pond in the summertime. Note that CO2 bubbles percolate up from the earth through the water, yet you won’t see this come November. Now consider opening a warm bottle of soda pop or beer. The CO2 comes gushing out. Doesn’t happen as much when the pop or beer is very cold.

The truth is that the sun controls what happens here on earth, not humans. And one doesn’t need high powered physics or differential equations to prove that. If the sun decides to materially burp, we humans will be wiped out in about 8 minutes. Ditto for mega asteroids. Can the U.N. or the U.S. Dept of Energy do anything to stop the sun burping or mega asteroids from impacting the earth? No, they cannot, nor will they ever be able to do so. THAT!

A new book by a leading climate change scientist gives reason for hope that the light of truth is shedding a few rays into the dark, dystopian, ideologically driven pseudoscience known as global warming.

With the 2023 publication of Climate Uncertainty and Risk: Rethinking Our Response, geoscientist Judith A. Curry, Ph.D., acknowledges that, in 2007, she “joined the consensus” in supporting the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report as “authoritative.” What changed her perspective was Climategate, the 2009 hacking and unauthorized release of emails from the Climatic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia. The email exchanges between climate scientists and IPCC authors confirmed her “concerns and suspicions” that “politics and personal agendas” had encroached on the IPCC assessment process.

In 2017, Curry resigned from a prestigious faculty position as chair of the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. “As a result of the polarization of climate science, I found that I had lost my love of science in the context of the academic ecosystem,” she admits.

Curry is currently employed in the private sector as president of Climate Forecast Applications Network (CFAN), a company she co-founded in 2006 under Georgia Tech’s VentureLab program. There she is involved in “real-world decision-making to manage weather- and climate-related risks.” She also created the highly respected blog Climate Etc., for which she has written numerous posts. That we must rely on climate probabilities is another huge admission, given the cataclysmic nature of Earth’s changes in geologic time—the rise of mountains, the movement of continents, and the impact of asteroids, to name a few. That a geoscientist of Judith Curry’s magnitude should be willing to criticize the IPCC global warming establishment on the mathematics of their climate models is earth-shaking. Without their climate models, the IPCC lose their thunder. predicting climate catastrophes. Once Curry embraced Lorenz, she abandoned Michael Mann forever. The dirty secret of Curry’s important book is that it exposes the IPCC attack on CO₂ as just another politicized iteration of the familiar neo-Marxist animosity to hydrocarbon fuels for providing the abundant and affordable energy capitalism needs to maintain the modern industrial state. Global warming veracity movement. When you think it can’t get worse … dead man walking

Lydia from comments thread to close us out: We saw how accurate computer models were for the covid hoax death watch. Garbage in, garbage out. The elite masters of the universe have created “climate change” for no other purpose than to control human behavior. Watch your local weather forecast and they can barely predict today’s weather, much less next week’s with accuracy.

The media is eagerly touting the southern heat wave as the the hottest in 100,000 years. Global weather record keeping didn’t begin until 1880. They haven’t a clue what the temperatures were in Texas 100,000 years ago. These science “experts” are just guessing.

There’s just no such thing as net zero, but these people are using climate as the excuse to reduce population through fabricated famine and fear. The flim-flammers like Gore and Kerry and their WEF masters see humans as chattel, and right now there are simply too many of us.

Were they truly worried about “climate change,” they’d end the biggest polluter and CO2 producer of all, war. They are charlatans, con artists, and homicidal maniacs. It does get more and more bizarre as time passes, but happily, many people are now waking up to the climate hysteria AND wokeness. One can definitely see rays of sunshine peeking through the gloom.
