George Orwell and his 1984 redux

En Garde in the bunker…

As a boy growing up in Lancastrian England having been born with my sister right in the middle of WWII, perhaps it was no surprise that at some point eventually, yours truly would encounter one George Orwell – real name “Eric Arthur Blair”.

The connection began some 18 years later when yours truly had morphed into a student with great teachers who definitely weren’t remiss in co-existing with students of like-minds hungry for information – particularly with such when immersed in wonderful historic measure.

Perhaps Orwell was a time traveler for example, or maybe a prophet, having given his name to describe the dystopian police state that has become America (ie “Orwellian”). The tyrannical Leftist/Globalists after all, weren’t too slow in embracing 1984 as their blueprint for enhanced technology to crush freedom. The American public after all, built their own cages by purchasing the “smart” technology that makes it all possible.

George Orwell and his 1984 redux

From “virtual assistants” like Alexa and Siri, smart phones, ring doorbells, smart TVs, and the like, we the people have made total surveillance reality, eagerly sharing private information on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other surveillance sites. Illegal aliens are given free Obama/Biden phones for a reason, and not from the goodness of their hearts.

Just how many people do you think will be willing to give up their personal tracking devices, appliances, and gadgets to be free from government scrutiny? People have willingly put themselves in chains for “convenience,” and enabled the rise of 1984-style tyranny and control. Orwell would be so proud!

Just like the governmental hoodlums in 1984 Biden and his crooks definitely KNOW he is lying to the American People as do his staff of enthusiastic sycophants in his administration, the MSM, the Dem Party and the Deep State. But, they lie not because they are ignorant of the truth. They lie only for one reason; that is to extend and expand their own political, cultural, social and ideological power on to We the (90 million+) People, viewing us as they do little more than silly, ignorant rubes who they can manipulate and deceive while shaking us down for our wealth and votes.

Lloyd Billingsley, American Greatness: ‘Orwell Inspired’ …

Nineteen Eighty-Four, the book most relevant for our time, came in “virtually perfect.”

George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four, first published in 1949, is gaining renewed attention as a work still relevant for America in 2022. Curious readers, even those familiar with the book, might take into account the circumstances of its creation.

Orwell wrote Nineteen Eighty-Four on the island of Jura in the Hebrides, one of the most remote outposts in the entire British Isles, the rough equivalent of Attu or Adak in the Aleutian chain. The author’s Barnhill residence was miles from stores and neighbors, not the sort of place any professional typist wanted to go.

Orwell typed the whole book himself, working long through the night, to the point that family members would wake up when he stopped typing. According to his publisher Fredric Warburg, the Nineteen Eighty-Four manuscript “came in virtually perfect, with hardly a comma wrong.” That betokens deep inspiration, which comes through from friends in Orwell Remembered.

“There was something loveable and sweet about him,” wrote Malcolm Muggeridge, “and without any question, an element of authentic prophecy in his terrible vision of the future.”

“His kind has walked this way before,” wrote the poet Paul Potts, who stayed with Orwell on Jura. “You will find them in the Bible. Amos might have been his cousin once removed.”

Orwell believed that ordinary Americans enjoyed the most freedom of any people on earth. In Nineteen Eighty-Four, Orwell quotes the American Declaration of Independence, which in the world of Nineteen Eighty-Four, would be pure thoughtcrime. Consider other key parallels with the United States today. [-]

[+] … Countless millions of people are never going to love Big Brother Joe Biden, or accept the Biden junta’s steady demolition of the United States of America. As the crucial midterms approach, these millions can find inspiration in George Orwell, who passed away on January 21, 1950.

“His life was a duel fought against lies, the weapon he chose, the English language,” wrote Paul Potts. “He carried no shield, used for a weapon plain facts loaded into simple English prose.”

“He looked to a future in which he hoped men might outlive the night of tyranny and falsehood, of ignorance and mediocrity, into which we often seem to be passing,” wrote Canadian writer George Woodcock, who met Orwell at the BBC during World War II. “None, indeed, knew better than he how heavy the odds were against such a hope, but he still thought it was worth fighting for with all the indignation and humanity of his nature.” [end]

But, even now – today – our votes are becoming more and more irrelevant or at least diluted given the ability of the demoMarxocrat left and their Techno-criminals to also manipulate the voting process to their favor. And, of course with the massive influx of illegals into the nation by the demoMarxocrats – which is specifically designed to eventually dilute the vote of conservatives – the danger remains of our votes becoming as influential as a feather in a hurricane and, just like our votes, our money too is becoming diluted as a result of the various economic policies of the Biden regime.

So, what Biden has done in conjunction with his criminal domestic allies in government, the demoMarxocrat MSM, education, etc., is to not only dilute the influence of our vote, but also to reduce the effectiveness and power of our wealth. Combine all of that with the expanded power of the Deep State that can apparently target and wreck the life of any one of us simply at will – one could very well argue that we no longer live in a “free society”, nor have we for some time. And collectively, it’s only going to get worse.

Just what is the difference after all, between a totalitarian government that suspends voting rights or unilaterally seizes personal wealth, or a government that systematically does the same thing exactly via the private sector or the economic policies? Answer is – well, not much. Not much difference at all.

And on that George Orwellian note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – Warrior-president Donald John Trump doing his darnedest to uphold and protect the Constitutional Republic of the United States of America – MAGA! KAG!
