A Foreign Example Of True Grit…

Go Ahead, Make ...

Go Ahead, Make …

A foreign example of true grit. First up, a wonderful example of hands-on leadership from Jordan’s King Abdullah who, in a meeting the other day with the House Armed Services Committee, quoted (GULP!!) Mr. Empty-Chair Clint Eastwood from the movie “Unforgiven.” Obviously there was absolutely no reason the King of Jordan should mention the rogue fraud “president”; he met with an empty suit after all, realizing that Clint Eastwood was correct with the empty chair analogy. No doubt with his roaring success at the box-office (and with the millions of movie-goers who are thronging to the screening) with his latest “American Sniper”, Clint was on the King’ s mind, and thereby why he would quote Mr. Eastwood, rather than a rogue fraud “president” who never has anything of substance to say. Rather more of a feckless coward, than a “go get ’em swashbuckler”.

In a closed-door meeting with the House Armed Services Committee Tuesday, Jordanian King Abdullah reportedly quoted Clint Eastwood’s revenge western Unforgiven in his description of the retribution his country would carry out against ISIS following the group’s burning alive of a Jordanian pilot. According to one of the committee members, King Abdullah did not so much as mention President Obama in the meeting, displaying yet again, a foreign example of true grit.

Citing committee member  Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., The Washington Examiner reports that the king showed “an extraordinary measure of anger” during the meeting, which he expressed in part by quoting Eastwood’s film:

“He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn’t seen,” said Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., a Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, who was in the meeting with the king. “He mentioned ‘Unforgiven’ and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie.”

Hunter would not say which part of “Unforgiven” the king quoted, but noted it was where Eastwood’s character describes how he is going to deliver his retribution. There is a scene in the picture in which Eastwood’s character, William Munny, says, “Any man I see out there, I’m gonna kill him. Any son of a bitch takes a shot at me, I’m not only going to kill him, I’m going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down.”

“He’s angry,” Hunter said of King Abdullah. “They’re starting more sorties tomorrow than they’ve ever had. They’re starting tomorrow. And he said, ‘The only problem we’re going to have is running out of fuel and bullets.'”

Hunter added that Abdullah reminded him of “how we were after 9/11” and was ready to “get it on” in the war against ISIS. But while Eastwood came to the Jordanian king’s mind, apparently the rogue fraud “president” did not. Hunter said that neither the king nor any lawmakers present even mentioned the president during the meeting.

In response to the horrific murder of the Jordanian pilot, King Abdullah ordered the execution of two Iraqi militants ISIS had demanded be released; yet again, a foreign example of true grit.

Yesterday Jordanian King Abdullah vowed revenge on ISIS for the brutal execution of the young pilot who the terrorist organization burned alive in a cage.  His threats were not just lip service.

While Obama and his administration are too afraid to even call ISIS a terrorist organization, King Abudallah, a pilot himself, personally geared up and brought the fight directly to ISIS in a show of defiance from a foreign example of true grit.

Talk about a “True-Grit” leader – Go Abdullah – a foreign example of true grit!!
