On a past historical note, we were told for eight years that fighting terror is a dirty business, in that the incoming GWB administration was repeatedly told by Clinton’s outgoing intelligence services that Osama bin Laden was determined to attack the US.
From that unhelpfully broad intel on fighting terror, we were to presume Bush should have done what exactly?
So now Trump picks up Obama’s “countries of concern” list, takes action on fighting terror, and liberals are outraged.
A skeptic would begin to think that the ousted liberals are really just mad that the terrorist attacks they hoped would hurt Trump may now have been thwarted by his action on fighting terror in the executive order. Forgive us for expecting that the new president would actually begin implementing his campaign agenda just as early as he could.
As might well be expected from a Democrat party absolutely gutted by the past eight years of the Obama debacle, they have their sentinels out in force these days in an attempt to thwart every aspect of the Trump plan on fighting terror in an effort to Make America Great Again.
First up, Keith Ellison (D) Minnesota, the first Muslim Congressman, appearing on Morning Joe, being pushed back somewhat by Scarborough on the fact that Trump is really acting on the same immigrant law that Obama himself brought into being, but Ellison stuck to his talking points.

Despite what Ellison was attempting to get across, according to The Federalist “13 percent of Syrian refugees say they support ISIS. A fifth of those interviewed said the Islamic State – the brutal Islamist group known for its beheadings, and that rules over large swaths of Syria and Iraq – is a positive influence on the country. Eighty-two percent said they believe the Islamic State was created by the United States and its allies.”
I suggest I rest my case on Trump fighting terror, and move on to Pelosi and Schumer attempting to rally their forces of evil with what looks like fake candles from the Statue of Liberty (I could parody that one with a [ahem!] ‘fake news’ retort but I won’t). The problem appearing to be, that Nancy and Chucky can’t seem to get on the same page at the same time, notwithstanding the fact that Ms. Pelosi can’t seem to find “her people”.

As Joseph Smith expresses it in American Thinker: If Chuck Schumer and other apoplectic leftists are right about Trump’s intent to ban a religion via his immigration executive orders, they must admit that he also did a terrible job. Of the 57 nations that are members of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation, Trump missed 50. That’s a .122 batting average. He missed the second largest Muslim nation by not selecting Indonesia, and he missed Malaysia. From the Organization for Islamic Cooperation website:

Perhaps the Schumer accusation and his premise are false. Logic would suggest that they are, indeed.
The seven Muslim-majority countries targeted in President Trump’s executive order on immigration were initially identified as “countries of concern” under the Obama administration. The threat was identified but not addressed by Obama.

If indeed the executive order was what Chuck Schumer and the others are crying about – religious persecution – it missed the mark terribly. But then, maybe what the senator from New York is saying isn’t true. Maybe the senator is just anti Trump? That will become crystal clear as cabinet nominees and supreme court nominees come up for Schumer’s perusal. More tears are expected.
Bottom line is: The president was completely in his authority to attempt to eradicate dangerous immigration in fighting terror.
To which the gee-gee’s of the Big Left Media wouldn’t have a clue if it was slapped across their delusional faces.
