The Ever-Recreating Planet Earth…

En Garde In The Bunker

En Garde In The Bunker

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.” ~ Psalm 19:1

As I’ve mentioned many, many, times on the verisimilitude of the completely specious global warming scam, it’s absolutely hilarious how all of the world’s climate (ie political, and therefore includes Obama the Clown Prince of Fools) scientists pretend to ignore even the most basic of scientific knowledge in their quest to flog the hell out of their “mankind is the sole or main cause of climate change” line of snake-oil salesmanship. A challenge of which produces this – Here’s an equation that the warmist’s try very hard not to acknowledge:

A carbon dioxide molecule plus a water molecule in the presence of sunlight (energy) results in a sugar molecule plus an oxygen molecule. In other words, this is the equation that has long been known in biochemistry as “photosynthesis”, where green plants (most of the terrestrial biomass on our planet) convert CO2 (otherwise known as plant food) and water into complex carbohydrates (sugars) that feed plant growth while generating the oxygen that is vital to nearly all life forms on this planet.

Higher CO2 concentrations (subject to limiting factors) gives us a greener planet with more breathable oxygen, while ergo, the CO2 from burning fossil fuels doesn’t just go up endlessly as the anti-science warmist’s claim. Indeed, in an overall mass balance for the planet, the CO2 released from burning fossil fuels is simply returning more of the stored mass of carbon in the crust of the earth to the biosphere, from whence it came in the first place over eons of time as plants on the surface of the planet died and their remains were converted to hydrocarbons stored in the crust.

The real “science deniers” are the warmist’s, who are actually political scientists (Bill Nye the “science” guy, are you kidding me?!) not hard-core real scientists who understand far better than they, how our planet works, though the very best science today is only dimly aware of how the thousands of processes underway, astrophysically, geophysically, biologically, and such, work together to create a climate that constantly changes; and plants absorb CO2 meaning, tada, the Earth is a closed loop system? Imagine a system self correcting. Wow, it’s a miracle?

We’ve always known that impacts would be a mixture of negative and positive, but more of the former than the latter. So what’s the big whoop about this study? A more interesting phenomenon is the one that sees people who find climate change ideologically inconvenient clinging desperately to any new study that seems to suggest some kind of “out.” Or perhaps it’s the alarmists that desperately cling to any new “study” that suggests Armageddon every time. Tell you what, you post a prediction that has been correct and I will post three that are wrong because it’s VERY clear that the alarmists are FAR superior at writing papers of doom and gloom and it’s also VERY clear they are wildly wrong.

Global warming/climate change my arse .. and that’s one big producer of flatulent hot air, including the always-needed CO2. Cee? I 2old you so …

Rick Moran in today’s American Thinker .. “Rise In Carbon Emissions Has Led To Massive Increase In Trees and Plants” …

284px-American_Thinker_logoIf all the extra leaves growing because of increased CO2 in the atmosphere were laid end to end, it would cover a space twice the size of the continental U.S.

That’s the conclusion of a new study conducted by 32 scientists and 24 institutions.

BBC:

Climate sceptics argue the findings show that the extra CO2 is actually benefiting the planet.

But the researchers say the fertilisation effect diminishes over time.

They warn the positives of CO2 are likely to be outweighed by the negatives.

The lead author, Prof Ranga Myneni from Boston University, told BBC News the extra tree growth would not compensate for global warming, rising sea levels, melting glaciers, ocean acidification, the loss of Arctic sea ice, and the prediction of more severe tropical storms.

The new study is published in the journal Nature Climate Change by a team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries.

It is called Greening of the Earth and its Drivers, and it is based on data from the Modis and AVHRR instruments which have been carried on American satellites over the past 33 years. The sensors show significant greening of something between 25% and 50% of the Earth’s vegetated land, which in turn is slowing the pace of climate change as the plants are drawing CO2 from the atmosphere.
