Since then, of course, the country has continued to lurch left to the point of insanity, nurturing a government having continued to grow and become more corrupt and more powerful by the day, to the point where We the (90 million+) People are encumbered with a so-called “government” which has become nothing more than a clear and present danger to the average citizen who might decide to get into its crosshairs for whatever reason. Having become like “Skynet” or one of those alien movies we all just hope we can hide from, just why or how has all this just happened?

A country constantly trending leftist all the time to the point where we no longer have freedom of speech, still portends that unhinged crazy people believe that men can have babies as a mainstream concept. To which we can toss in totally stark-raving looney-tune-women believing they can become men with .. you know … “equipment?” The country has gone mad. Nutsy as looming fruitcakes!

When OBO#44 took his shellacking, he brought in John Brennan to run the CIA and began using him to cheat from the get-go, his personality after all, hardly doing well with defeat or lessons learned. He really should’ve lost in 2012 but did well enough to use that loss to institutionalize cheating for all demoMarxocrats. He had everything going against him. Bad economy, wars, debt and much more yet he squeaked out a victory.

All the old OBO#44 years showed was how little power the Congress actually has. It is all concentrated in the Administration. Now we know why Hillary was so devastated by her loss. She was mad they couldn’t pull off another steal for her!

As Maximus-Cassius expresses it on the thread: Although I continually (and will continue to do so) and vigorously opine that we cannot vote ourselves out of this dire predicament, I DO intend on voting the straight Republican ticket next month–just as I have since I first voted in 1980.

However, I maintain no illusion that my straight ticket vote will do anything other than make some Republicans even richer, the Democrats even more determined to shove tyranny down our throats, and I’ll be harangued that its just the beginning, we’re getting closer, it’s only an election away, blah, blah, blah. Don’t believe the psy-ops polls: Democrats are in for a shellacking unlike any they’ve had in a long while.

As sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, corporate propagandists offer their best psy-ops for the midterms. Through the summer and into the early part of fall, they were driving the narrative that somehow the midterm elections were not going to be particularly devastating for the freakish Left, and by that I mean Democrats writ large.

The general narrative—and this is the Cliffs Notes version—was that there is nothing to worry about as our economic house burns down, violent crime explodes, and our southern border collapses. In reality, it’s not that bad at all. Actually, it’s good for you! Those flames you see burning down the house, in fact, are a source of warmth to brighten your evening. And don’t worry, the foundations should still be intact when the flames die down. Maybe.

The most blatant attempt at shaping a rosy narrative for Democrats about the midterms has been the absurd push to take note of “registered voter” polls, which in the real world means almost nothing. The “likely voter” polls—that is, polls of people who are actually likely to vote in the midterms—paint a different picture across the board, from the congressional generic ballot to the Senate and gubernatorial races. Nevertheless, as is sadly and predictably the case, there are those on the Right who have fallen for this psy-op. If one really wants to get a snapshot of reality, look at the polls strictly focused on likely independent voters only.

The good news is that reality eventually kicks in, sometimes because rational people acknowledge and accept it, or sometimes because it hits one like a sledgehammer right in the face. For example, since 1946 every president in his first midterm election who has less than a 50 percent approval rating loses 37 seats on average in the House. [-]

[+] … So if Republicans push hard down the homestretch I have every reason to believe that our low end gains in the House will be in the high 30s, though it’s likely up to the 40s or even 50s. I’m hard pressed to believe we won’t have a 52-48 split in the Senate though I think we can get to 54-46. In gubernatorial races we will likely end up with around a 30-20 advantage, though 32-18 is possible, and of course we’ll pick up seats in state legislatures and make drastic changes at the school board level.

In order for the Left to get the definitive rebuke it needs and so richly deserves, however, it is important during these last four weeks before Election Day to do everything in our power to make it so. So keep calm, carry on, and annihilate the Left: the tears and screams of agony from those twisted souls as they lose their “precious” ring of congressional power will be extremely enjoyable on Election Night. To cut to the chase – Winning is not the end, but the beginning. There had better be investigations, trials, and imprisonments. The election of 2020 had better be completely investigated, so it doesn’t happen again. Those behind the illegal imprisonments of Jan. 6 participants MUST be prosecuted. The first republican that says, let’s move on, let’s reach across the isle, let us work together should be run out of town on a rail. The COVID fiasco needs to be totally investigated, and the money trials revealed. Get ready also for riots that will make the BLM/Antifa riots look like child’s play. The left smells blood in the water and they will not accept defeat. Will you?

It seems likely the GOP will make significant gains in the 2022 mid-terms. The most important question is will that make a difference in what the US government does? Diktat gubmint a certified madness.
