Go Ahead, Make …
In a personal letter to Peter Carr on August 19th, 1785, Thomas Jefferson opined: “It is of great importance to set a resolution, not to be shaken, never to tell an untruth. There is no vice so mean, so pitiful, so contemptible; and he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and a third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world’s believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good disposition.”
This past Friday, We The People were witness to a most extraordinary performance, and I use the word “performance” quite guardedly. In the middle of a normal everyday presser, Barney-Carney-Circus-Clown exhibited feigned surprise when, somewhat on cue (although someone had gone to great measures to “normalize” the scenario) up pops the faux president of the United States to give an impromptu “thanks and goodbye” to said Barney-Carney-Circus-Clown. A few hours earlier of course, the faux president had “fired” the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, even though he had “resigned” of his own volition, so he was batting 1 for 1 as he entered the WH press room. By the time he left 15 minutes or so later, he was batting 2 for 2. Why?
To admit that Barney-Carney-Circus-Clown was a liar, would be like admitting that Satan is the devil; or vice versa. Which, by association, means that the faux president of the United States was also as big a liar if not more-so, than Barney-Carney-Circus-Clown. For this time, this president, this media, and this electorate, B-C-C-C is (now “was” I guess) the perfect Patsy Press Secretary. His boss is a pathological liar and a traitor; the media he addressed was the same foul swamp he slithered from; the majority of voters apparently want to be lied to, are too lazy to do their own due diligence, or just don’t care. B-C-C-C’s pathetic stint as Patsy Press Secretary was emblematic of the corruption in Washington, that has risen like a backed up sewer and lasted so long that the stench is becoming the new normal. By the way, wasn’t Stretch Pelosi on record as declaring she would hose out the sewer that is Washington D.C.?
A Marxist/Muslim President with his communist mouthpiece, B-C-C-C’s time as Patsy Press Secretary is an ignominious testimonial to the fathomless falling-away from greatness that has befallen this once-great nation. It is the progressive-liberal-Alinskyite-Marxist-Dems who have continuously corrupted the nation to the level it is now, but it is the voter’s fault for falling for their lies and BS. B-C-C-C got paid to make a fool of himself and lie his head off. Thanks to moral relativism we no longer need the truth. It appears as long as the truth destroys true honest values then anything goes. Following his fallout Friday, the faux president Obot traded a traitor for Muslim killers and claimed it a moral victory for America. Well done for taking us yet another step closer to a military-run USSA.
Like Jefferson, Joseph Goebbels was also famous for having something to say about serial liars, albeit his was somewhat more sinister than the words of Jefferson, to whit:
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
The lesson here is? Nazi leaders in WWII, and Soviet leaders during the cold war, would often drone on for hours and hours without making a single statement that had any basis in fact. B-C-C-C and the Obot have learned from the same playbook. The truth is whatever gets decided by consensus for those people populating the WH press room these days, and so journalism is in a way intrinsically redundant even though it’s what they’re supposed to be doing for a living. What they do in fact, more than true investigative reportage, is “consensus landscaping.”
So B-C-C-C didn’t really betray journalism. Fact is, he’s never really been one.

In 2008, Jay Carney went from covering the White House to lying for the White House. Carney’s lies weren’t unusual among his media colleagues, but unlike them he began lying in an official capacity, assuring his former colleagues that his bosses were completely unaware of what they were doing. Carney went from covering the presidential campaign for TIME and CNN to covering up for the same people he had been covering. He didn’t do it for the money. TIME was paying Carney $60,000 more than Obama would. He did it because he believed.
You don’t take on the thankless job of being Biden’s Director of Communications when you have a prestigious position at the top of your profession because your big dream involves chasing after the gaffes of a professional idiot whose whiskey-pickled brain has convinced him that he’s a political genius.
You take it because you believe in the agenda.
Jay Carney was a compulsive liar who truly believed in the cause he was lying for. Like the Communist hacks he had dealt with while working in TIME’s Moscow Bureau, he had faith in the revolution.
In 2008, while still working for TIME, he praised Obama’s “refreshingly non-ideological declaration about how best to govern” and called it a “welcome change from the ideology-first recent past.”
“Are conservatives really so blind to Gov. Sarah Palin’s true liabilities that they believe this is the reason she was mauled in the press? How appalling,” he ranted.
During the election, Carney had cheered for Obama and booed McCain. He had “fact checked” Republican press releases while drawing pink hearts on anything that came from Obama Inc. It was as if he had already been on Obama’s payroll without bothering to inform his bosses.
