Obama’s Less Than Stellar Legacy…

Go Ahead, Make ...

Go Ahead, Make …

Obama the Clown Prince of Fools will go down in history as the absolute worst president ever elected since the United States was brought forth by the Founding Fathers. He will forever be known as the most anti-American, terrorist enabling, Constitution-disrespecting, race-baiter-in-chief. For one thing, thanks to Obama’s open borders policies, the United States is being flooded with high-potency heroin on a daily 24/7 basis. The number of these deaths reached a new peak in 2014: 47,055 people, or the equivalent of about 125 Americans every day. 125 deaths EVERY DAY. No tears for these victims, right, Obama? Keeping America Safe! yeah, right, to say nothing of all the gang killings in his native Chicago in which those dreaded guns are the main weaponry – How the Epidemic of Drug Overdose Deaths Ripples Across America

Barack Obama the Clown Prince of Fools and his “legacy” is a hideous national nightmare. It is sad to think of a leader as evil, but as I have stated many times before in my commentaries, I see evil and lawlessness behind his most odious of policies. The current foreign policy for instance, which has evolved from the most unqualified Secretaries of State in the nations’ history (Billary and Heinz Baked Beans Kerry) has resulted in a much more dangerous world, with enemies empowered and allies betrayed, both of whom used the same straw-man false choice argument of the inept and incompetent president; diplomacy or war. Every administration uses diplomacy, but this particular administration’s impotent posture and lack of backbone worldwide puts freedom in jeopardy for many people in many countries. With terror attacks on our homeland such as the Boston Marathon, San Bernadino, Fort Hood and numerous other places becoming more frequent, the American people will demand strong leadership from the next president, something that has been sorely lacking for the past eight years.

A partial list of Obama the Clown Prince of Fools and his legacy accomplishments:

  • Fundamentally Transforming NASA from Space Exploration to Muslim Outreach….
  • Insisting that Nidal Malik Hasan’s Fort Hood Massacre be called “Workplace Violence” NOT Domestic Terrorism.
  • Siding with the Ayatollahs, Mullahs and Clerics in the 2009 Tehran “Green Revolution”.
  • Addressing the “Muslim World” in Cairo Egypt, essentially saying “Hey, I’m one of you!”
  • Overseeing the slowest economic recovery in the history of the Milky Way Galaxy.
  • Trying to take over a sizable chunk of the economy to increase the Government’s power over the people.
  • Pulling our forces out of Iraq, thus creating a power vacuum and leading to the formation of ISIS.
  • Unleashing his Anti-Capitalist/Profit, Pro-Socialist Economic Policies on an already weak nation.
  • Having the largest number of unemployed and food-stamp dependents in American history.
  • Snubbing America’s traditional Allies, while embracing our Enemies …. England? Israel? Iran? China?
  • Playing Golf after an American was beheaded by ISIS and calling TEA Party Republicans “Terrorists”.
  • Using the empty campaign phrase “HOPE & CHANGE” as his Governing Principles. Seriously!!
The "Hopey/Changey" thing working out as planned ... Horribly by horrible people.

The “Hopey/Changey” thing working out as planned … Horribly by horrible people.

I could go on all day, but in this piece coming up from Sen. John Thune (R.South Dakota) in National Review Online and his spot-on dissection, I shouldn’t wonder if some smart cabal of conservative lawyers are already at work today on how to reverse Obama’s edicts and lay out real, detailed alternatives to say, Obamacare and the Iran deal and the rest of Obama’s lawlessness. God forbid however, that even with a GOP presidential win, confusion and pettifoggery will accompany most of Obama’s legacy and keep it hanging by a thread. The stink from this administration will just linger because the RINOs are incapable of getting their act together. One thing for sure, the Obama Presidential Library will be more like a kiosk than anything else. After all, how much space do a pen and a phone really need?

On now to Sen. Thune’s disclosure…

national-review-online-logoLast week, President Obama delivered his final State of the Union address. In the lead-up to the speech, there was a lot of discussion about the nature of the president’s legacy. Less discussed, however, was that most of the president’s so-called legacy may not outlast his presidency, since most of his supposed achievements have never been enacted into law.

Early on in his presidency, it became clear that the president didn’t have much interest in working with Congress in a bipartisan manner, and after losing large majorities in the House and Senate, he made it clear that he did not want to listen to the American people, who had overwhelmingly rejected his far-left agenda. His determination to circumvent Congress and ignore the American people has not only been an affront to the democratic process and an attack on the balance of power our Founding Fathers envisioned, it has also failed as a strategy for securing long-lasting achievements.

As a result of his contempt for Congress and his unwillingness to engage with the legislative process, the vast majority of the items that make up the president’s “legacy” — including the national energy tax, executive amnesty, and the flawed Iran deal — are not actual laws. Instead, the president’s legacy is largely made up of regulations, executive actions, and executive agreements, most of which can be easily overturned by the next administration.

After Congress and the American people rejected Obama’s cap-and-trade proposal, he turned to the EPA to impose his will through heavy-handed regulations, including the national energy tax that will increase energy costs for those who can afford it the least. But because these regulations have been imposed through the administration’s rule-making process instead of through congressional action, a new president could start the process of repealing these rules as soon as he or she takes office. In fact, at least two of these rules could be eliminated even sooner, since they are currently being challenged in the courts.

The president’s immigration legacy is in even worse trouble. In November the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld a lower court’s decision blocking the president’s attempt to grant amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants. The administration is currently appealing the appeals court’s decision to the Supreme Court, but even if the administration should prevail, a new president could overturn President Obama’s amnesty on the first day of the new administration.

There's a shaking going on...

There’s a shaking going on…

Then there’s the president’s nuclear deal with Iran, which the president obviously regards as a signature foreign-policy achievement. Leave aside that the deal paves the way for a nuclear-armed Iran. This agreement is yet another part of the Obama legacy that can be overturned by the next president, because President Obama refused to submit this deal to the Senate as a treaty and instead chose to complete it through an executive agreement.

In short, most of the president’s legacy is paper-thin and may not outlast his final year in office. Even the president’s two actual legislative achievements may not long outlast his administration. Obamacare is already collapsing under its own weight, and parts of the president’s Dodd-Frank law are under scrutiny by Congress. Thanks to the president’s decision to bypass the people’s representatives in Congress, his real legacy may turn out to be that he doesn’t have one.
