Like most of we “observing observers”, President Donald John Trump was blindsided so many times in his appointments, that not being a professional politician was as much a strength as it was a weakness. He never had a Rolodex filled with the names of politicians he knew he could trust because it was an arena in which he never cared to play. Trump was easily flattered by two-faced RINOs in so many cases that he was rarely given the right advice and came to rely on Jared Kushner of all people. Fortunately, he had good instincts when it came to policy and a genuine love of country.
Trump came to Washington an outsider. He had no choice but to depend on leaders long immersed in US official culture for appointments and guidance. That he came as a representative of the American rebellion against the national establishment – ie, not to become one of them – doesn’t mean either he or they lack integrity. People with good intentions can, and frequently do, disagree in views, goals and methods.
Mike Pence on the other hand, is and always has been, with the state – not the rebellion. Of course he promoted people of like mind which isn’t amorality, it’s simply being true to one’s own beliefs. Whether or not one agrees with those beliefs is beside the point. That Trump often took Pence’s advice is all on the same order as his having taken it from McConnell, Sessions, or McMaster for security.
The Republican Party is a Chamber of Commerce lobby masquerading as a political party and goes back to the fact that we have a totalitarian media in this country and have had ever since the rise of television in the 1960s. Even before Watergate the Republicans decided that you can’t go against the Received Culture doled out by the media and prosper in a demoMarxocrat system, so they decided just to go all in for business and throw their constituents under the bus in the culture wars. Judas Pence & unsavory conviction.
So we’ve had a parade of bland pols like Gerald Ford, Dan Quayle, George H.W. Bush, and now Mike Pence whose chief reason for being selected is that they are inoffensive to the leftist-dictated cultural zeitgeist. Unfortunately for the Republicans this rope-a-dope collaborator strategy is nearing its end, now anyone who holds the views that the majority of Americans held just 10-15 years ago is a Nazi. You just can’t be bland enough, which is mostly due to the effects of Republican-supported mass immigration over the last 40+ years. All of which is part of the game.
Theodore Roosevelt Malloch, American Greatness: ‘Judas Pence’ …
Mike Pence isn’t fooling anyone and will be neither president nor Donald Trump’s running mate in 2024.
In the Gospel of St. Matthew, we read that Judas committed the unthinkable betrayal of Jesus. Judas Iscariot was of course one of the Twelve Apostles. He is notorious for betraying Christ by disclosing Jesus’ whereabouts for 30 pieces of silver. Judas brought soldiers to arrest Jesus after the Last Supper in the Garden of Gethsemane and identified him with a kiss. Jesus was then arrested, tried, and crucified.
Mike Pence, the former vice president, betrayed President Donald J. Trump and is in many ways a modern-day Judas. No one wants him to hang himself as Judas did in utter shame, but he should recede into the horizon, sort of like the other inconsequential vice president, whatshisname, also from Indiana.
Most people on the Right have come to believe Pence is a turncoat because of his failure to recognize a (regular, legal, constitutional) motion signed by at least one congressman and one senator—support Al Gore couldn’t muster—in the joint session of Congress on January 6, 2021. Every count (there were six) entailed two hours of floor time before ratifying the formal election result, allowing time for the evidence of voter fraud to enter the record. He refused, which is the immediate cause of the protesters getting angry at him. At the very least he could have delayed for 10 days the formal election result to investigate voter fraud. It is certainly the case that he has gone on to criticize and even mock President Trump as “wrong.”
Pence legitimized the illegitimate election of the usurper, Joe Biden. He attended the inauguration and conceded defeat. It makes him look stupid on legal matters and surely less than loyal. “It is my considered judgment that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not,” Pence declared. The foulest of straw-men arguments, since nobody thinks the vice president has unilateral authority on anything. [-]
[+] … It should be clear by now Judas Pence is not going to be president of the United States, nor is he going to be Trump’s running mate again. Judas’ theological role as the metaphysically necessary incarnation of human disloyalty to the divine imperative parallels well with the story of Geo Deus, up to and including the part where Trump will rise again from what his pharisaical enemies thought to be oblivion. Pence, recalling his past life as a radio huckster, will be reduced to doing pillow and pain relief commercials on cable TV but that will probably not include any for testosterone.
Fooled once, the voting public will not be fooled twice—and Donald Trump won’t be either. [end]

Evil is definitely being done, and there are well-meaning people who are enabling it on a regular basis. Mike Pence is one of those, regardless of how sincere his faith, or how decent a person he may or may not be. He is at best deluded, but whatever he is, he is MAGA’s political enemy, and must be treated as such. The Trump era has helped us to identify the traitors in our midst, and for that, and saving us from Hillary, we owe him our eternal gratitude.
An honest statist is a statist nonetheless. One need not agree with him / her, support their policies, or vote for their reelection. Neither need one condemn them morally. Both sides of the great American political divide have fallen too far into the ancient trap of assuming that people who see the world differently, even the bizarre and corrupted one of Washington, D.C., must therefore be bad people. Were they good ones, they would see it our way, or so that old rabbit hole goes.
To a seeming throng of us, Pence is a snake in the grass and his sabotage of General Michael Flynn for one, was a well-planned, inside hatchet job. It was treason right out of the gate, yet like many of the left who actually stole the election, there are those who repeatedly insist that Trump demanded that he “overturn” the result of the election.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Pence was being requested to defend the actual result, or, at the very least, stand athwart the traitors while the dust settled. Upon this, he manifestly failed and indeed refused to do so. Judas Pence & unsavory conviction.
And on that note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – warrior-president Donald John Trump – MAGA! KAG!
