Observing Obama the Clown Prince of Fools over the past eight years of his tiptoeing through the tulips of his fantasy land brings to mind the dearly-departed Peter Sellers and his brilliant portrayal of Chauncey Gardiner in the movie “Being There”. A send up of pomposity and fawning celebrity, it is an interesting illustration of how easily we all can be taken in by a faux celebrity expert on everything, even to the advising of a standing United States president. Obama with his “corpseman” and “Cuber” and other defective expressions is the perfect example of a dim-witted fool just simply “being there.”
Which takes us to “Cuber” (Cuba to the rest of us) and the charade of the first visit by a sitting US president in 90 years. As Daniel Greenfield describes it in today’s FrontPage Magazine: “Even though Obama illegally and falsely delisted Cuba as a state sponsor of terror, the Communist dictatorship still remains a haven and a hub for terrorists from around the world, holding the same appeal for Obama that it did for the leftist terrorists who hide out there today. Cuba is best known for its ties to the Marxist narcoterrorists of FARC who have kidnapped and murdered Americans. But the Iran-backed Islamic terrorists of Hezbollah, who carried out the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut, have a home in Cuba. As do members of the left’s terrorist networks in America.”[end]
The current “being there” state of Obama the Clown Prince of Fools can’t get much worse than a traitor proud of himself, and by dupes who are proud of him, with a couple of would-be successors standing in the wings, a country transformed by despotism and the dupes going along with their subversion faithfully wanting more of the same; sacrificing their liberty to socialism’s gods. Just how much more damage can Obama do in what remains of his term of office?
The liberal progressive Leftist Socialists, including Obama the Clown Prince of Fools, have a long history of idolizing and venerating black and Hispanic killers and assorted radical terrorists, viewing them as oppressed “victims” lashing out at “the Man.” Murdered police officers are seen as representing the irredeemably-racist Establishment; hence, their deaths are to be celebrated, not mourned, and their killers are to be viewed as folk heroes to be venerated, as opposed to vile thugs to be hunted down, tried and imprisoned. Che Guevara Obamanazi and his mentors, Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright, the Muslim Brotherhood and scores of others, are steeped in this tradition, marinated in the toxic well of this demonic ideology for decades.

Their crimes are viewed as a justified blow against “oppression.” Hence, the nauseating, utterly irrational support and rapturous hero worship expressed by the Left for the Black Panthers’ terrorism, the Nation of Islam’s sundry murders, mayhem and rabid anti-Semitism, and an assorted rogues’ gallery of black folk-hero miscreants and murderers; Mumia Abu-Jamal and “Tookie” Williams among many others. The more astounding thing is that the extreme Left, including Obama, are so unabashed about supporting these radicals.
That Obama has gifted “Cuber’s” (Cuba’s to us) totalitarian regime with a new legitimacy and currency, without a modicum of quid pro quo, a change in regime behavior, or demanding the custody of the killers mentioned in Greenfield’s essay is revolting, but not surprising in the least. He is acting out the fantasies and credos of the Left, in which the U.S. is responsible for all of our broken foreign policy relationships, as opposed to the totalitarian thugs running Iran and Cuba.
Obama is scrambling like a frightened rabbit as his horrible legacy is about to strangle him just as DemoMarxists strangle blacks in their Democratically-created hellholes. FDR was a complete and utter failure. Many government programs that are widely used today have their seeds in the New Deal. Farm subsidies, minimum wage, and welfare, among others, all stifle economic growth – encouraging decreased productivity and exacerbating unemployment. Roosevelt’s imperious approach to the presidency changed American politics forever, and as he manipulated public opinion, American citizens became unwitting accomplices to the stilted economic growth of the 1930s.

More than seventy years after FDR died in office, we still struggle with the damaging repercussions of his legacy. As his Treasury Secretary Henry Morgenthau testified before the House Ways and Means Committee in May of 1939: “We are spending more money than we have ever spent before and it does not work. I want to see this country prosperous. I want to see people get a job. We have never made good on our promises. I say after eight years of this administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started and an enormous debt to boot.”
The unfortunate legacy of Obama the Clown Prince of Fools, will not only embrace the biggest national debt in the history of the Republic, but also his failed foreign policy on every front. Only the intervention of WWII (and his grab of a third term as a result) saved the presidency of the inept FDR. Unfortunately for Obama the Clown Prince of Fools, no such lifeline seems to be on his political horizon, try as he might to stir up domestic dissension across the nation with his divisive racist intentions.
His everlasting legacy of simply “being there” will be about as good as it gets.
Daniel Greenfield and “Obama’s Odyssey To Terrorist Cuba ..”
In 1972, Ishmael Muslim Ali LaBeet and four other killers walked into the Fountain Valley golf club in the Virgin Islands. They rounded up four Florida tourists and four employees, forced them to kneel on the ground, shouted racial slurs at their victims, all but one of whom were white. “Kill all the white mother___s”, one of the attackers yelled. And the Fountain Valley Massacre began.
LaBeet had converted to Islam under the influence of Malcolm X and had a history of assaults on white people. He and his fellow racist murderers were swarmed by left-wing civil rights attorneys eager to claim that they had been tortured into confessing. William Kunstler, the most notorious figure in the case, got a St. Croix vacation out of it while sleeping with the wife of Michael Ratner, the head of the Center for Constitutional Rights. But his claims of torture were undermined by his own clients.
At his trial, Ishmael LaBeet yelled, “I killed them all. I don’t give a f__. I killed them all.” Supporters snapped Black Power salutes. The killers were found guilty and sentenced. But LaBeet had learned how to use civil rights to manipulate the system. His manipulations culminated in his successful hijacking of an airplane to Cuba. Today he is still there, north of Guantanamo, and claims to be a Communist.
