For some specific reason, Sir Winston became my boyhood hero round about the time of the above-mentioned quote, when I was at the tender age of 7 going on 8 while growing up in a somewhat war-torn back end of Manchester to Liverpool in a place still there known as Wigan.
Having become a student of history I would learn somewhat later in life that Sir Winston came through both WWI and WWII having accomplished brilliance in both endeavors. Sir Winston’s fate from the (ahem) British version of demoMarxoCrats (aka British Labour Party) upon defeating Hitler and his monstrosities, was to bump him out of his Prime Ministership and send him packing.

Sound familiar? Well it should, but let us also remind that Sir Winston was the guiding influence upon both Ronald Wilson Reagan, and Donald John Trump. One of whom they attempted to assassinate, the other from whom they fraudulently stole his overwhelming election. If you haven’t noticed yet, Gubmint can be a very nasty business.
The leftist demoMarxocrats may be elitists but more importantly and seriously they’re communists. Let that sink in. Their motto is the end justifies the means and by ANY means necessary. The globalist plan for a One World Order is in motion and is NOT a conspiracy theory; their plans are out there in the open for anyone to see if they want to. They’ve had several decades to put their nefarious plans in action and they are at least 75% there, perhaps more.

Senator Lindsey Graham (U-DC) appears for his scheduled pontificating pantomime with Maria Bartiromo. Right-wing Graham is outraged, shocked and verklempt at the policies being advanced by the left-wing of the UniParty bird.
Graham walks through the legislative constructs that are destroying our constitutional republic and then promises if the flag atop the Senate spire is changed, all will be better. Graham is what Native Americans aptly described as “forked tongue”.
Understanding the DC game of Chaff and Countermeasures…. A “Countermeasure” is a measure or action taken to counter or offset a preceding one.
Politically speaking, the deployment of countermeasures is a well-used tactic by professional politicians in Washington DC to counter incoming public inquiry and protect themselves from anger expressed by the electorate. The UniParty leadership are very skilled in the deployment of “chaff” (outrage), and “countermeasures” (the distraction). [-]
[+] … Elites do not have to wear masks (Pelosi hair salon); or elites do not have to abide by group and social distance rules (Newsom at restaurant party); or elites do not have to concern themselves for carbon emissions (Kerry private airline travel); or elites do not have to worry about the justice system (Clinton emails, Comey FBI lies), etc.
This is NOT hypocrisy, this is a fundamental part of creating a classist society.
Those within the club, in this example the DC club, want those outside the club to accept there are two systems of rights and responsibilities. The club members have all powerful rights and no responsibilities for consequences; the non club members have lesser rights and full responsibility for consequences. This is the cornerstone of a tiered or classist society outlook.
“Rules for thee and not for me” is more than a catch phrase; it is an actual worldview with a history in political control. They are not hypocrites, they are living out their creed. [-]

It’s more along the lines of “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending I can’t see it or hear it or maybe I don’t understand it.”

Sundance very much on point as usual, witnessed since GHW Bush rode Reagan’s coattails straight into office. Then like millions of others yours truly began to read his lips – really! – sounding the alarm 30 years ago when all the people round about me called me a kook, and a nut. Those same people now come to me exclaiming they have finally seen the light. Good for them. 30 years is a long time. Glad they finally see how they have screwed us for years while they were working on their epiphany.

Look at it this way, 535 congressional members carefully selected to extract the maximum dollars from your work to redistribute to whatever country will give a kick back to their families. Skim a bit here and there while confiscating your work, bankrupting businesses, violating your worship, then null and voiding your vote so the UniParty stays in power while lying every minute of every day. Then allowing the demented idiot to use his crayons to open the border back to thousands of people with Covid-19 sickness, ending the pipelining of oil, ending the border fence while erecting a fence around the Capitol house we pay for; and all while sending the debt through the proverbial roof!
Gubmint and deep state criminality … The current iteration of Congress is little more than a CRIME syndicate that must be removed.
