Boston buying Russian gas outrage?

En Garde in the bunker…

Rumor has forever had it that John F. Kerry is a traitor multiple times over, beginning with his despicable treachery during the Vietnam war, which led him to selling the US out to Iran, all of which was to placate his globalist friends. Added to which he has since undermined US sovereignty and energy independence by violating the Logan Act which ought to have led to he and his ilk being buried in the ash heap of history; his only skill-set after all, having been stalking and marrying rich and richer women with relentless self-promotion. Period.

With a legislature that no longer legislates and a Republican party that is anything but an opposition party, you’d think that some pol would step in front of the libtards that are paying 3X to heat their homes and point out why this is happening. The reason it never happens is because Republicans don’t talk to blue states. It never happens because 90% of Republicans are grifters whose primary concern is to get re-elected so they can continue to grift, making it much easier to get elected in Red states.

While I’m at it, it appears to yours truly that the reason that the whole establishment, the oligarchy that runs nearly all the big institutions of the Western World, clings to their faith in a ‘climate crisis’, is that the ‘transition to green energy’ is such a perfect weapon to destroy the middle class. If you can’t just outlaw the middle-class way of life, you can in fact strangle it by making the energy to maintain it unaffordable. Enter JoeBiteMe and clan!

But why are they making war on the middle class? The ‘Great Reset,’ of which that war is an essential part, is a transition to a global tyranny of a ‘citizen-of-the-world’ oligarchy, essentially the crowd who meets at the World Economic Forum in Davos every year. Now the perfect tyranny rules over a population in which there are only two kinds of people: the rich who have a stake in the tyranny, and the poor who are struggling just to survive. Both kinds are dependent on the tyrants. Boston buying Russian gas outrage?

Yup – criminalize environmental organizations. Turn them into targets for criminal prosecution, RICO their flush bank accounts, and define environmental organizations, supporters, donors and employees as supporters of terrorism. Difficult to bring a lawsuit when you’re behind bars – or on the run. Jan 6 redux, anyone?

Andy May, American Greatness: ‘Why Does Boston Buy Natural Gas from Russia?’ …

The environmental organizations have full veto power on all energy projects through the legal system.

Europe is vulnerable and needs our natural gas; prices are absurdly high and going higher. Yet, everyone in the oil and gas industry is afraid to invest any money, even if they have financing available. Who wants to start a 10- to 20-year natural gas project, whether it’s a gas field, pipeline, or LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal, when the current administration is saying it will shut you down in 10 years?

“You’ve got six years, eight years, no more than 10 years or so,” says climate envoy John Kerry. “No one should make it easy for the [natural] gas interests to be building out 30- or 40-year infrastructure.”

In the meantime, India has relaxed its environmental regulations and plans to double its use of coal. China has cut coal import tariffs to zero to ensure energy security and lower costs.

The United States has an abundance of coal and natural gas. Yet, natural gas is actually imported, at great cost, to Boston’s LNG facility from Russia, Canada, and the Caribbean due to the lack of pipeline capacity. In late January natural gas from the Algonquin City Gate Hub (near Boston) sold for over $20 per million BTUs, and more than $23 on the futures market. Natural gas from nearby Pennsylvania cost just $4 in January. [-]

[+] … Likewise, the Atlantic Coast Pipeline was canceled due to lawsuits over crossing the Appalachian Trail. The PennEast natural gas pipeline from Pennsylvania to New Jersey was also canceled due to permitting problems related to wetlands in New Jersey. Of course,TransCanada’s (TC Energy) Keystone XL pipeline project was killed by Joe Biden’s order on his first day in office.

Given the real threat of lawsuits, I doubt any major oil, gas, or coal projects will be initiated, regardless of rising prices. No one wants to invest in or begin a project that courts or regulators appear likely to stop.

Large projects are unlikely to go forward until the oil and gas companies get some sort of emergency declaration from the federal government to protect them from incessant lawsuits, speed up permitting, and allow projects to go to completion. The environmental non-governmental organizations have full veto power on all projects now through the legal system. They clearly don’t care how much you pay for energy or where you are forced to buy it.

When it comes to relaxing regulations to allow the use of effective energy sources, India and China have the right idea. [end]

Now many of our politicians, few of whom are technically literate or even have much experience of doing anything practical in the real world, really are ignorant enough to believe they can and must save the planet from a ‘climate change’ catastrophe. Many are like Joe Biden, John Kerry, and Nancy Pelosi who have no real principles except a vague conviction that a bigger, more powerful and centralized government is the best, even the only, solution to all problems.

A large, self-reliant middle class, on the other hand, is always a threat to tyrants. Middle class burgers and yeoman farmers are constantly pressing for more freedom and independence. Emperor Xi of China only tolerates them because he knows he can’t finance his quest for world power without them. It appears to me that the American and European oligarchs have decided that they don’t need a middle class because the best future for them is to rule over us as vassals of the Communist Party of China.

But most scientists know that we really don’t know enough about the climate or human influence on it to base the drastic, and destructive, decisions that most politicians, including the unelected ones who run our big corporations, especially corporate media, schools, and other nonprofits, are pushing. And surely even some of those politicians at least have listened to some of the skeptical scientists and entertain serious doubts about the ‘transition to green energy.’ So why do they push it anyway?

And on that note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – warrior-president Donald John Trump – MAGA! – KAG!
