For the uninitiated, some examples of ‘trumping’, culled from the august pages of dictionary.com:
1) Bombast was trumping originality and critics were at the end of their ropes with it.
2) Yes, but it wasn’t just about trumping people’s expectations, wrote Homeland executive producer Alex Gansa in an email.
3) and relative to euchre: Trumping your partner’s trick to put the lead through the strong hand.
Which, of course, brings me to the topic at hand. The rebel elements of ‘government’ are what we get when we allow teachers unions and far left school boards to indoctrinate our children into marching and chanting ‘Obamabots’, to voicing radical ideas in the classroom, to forcing children to write essays on why Trump is like Hitler, etc., etc., and allowing them to do so without any harsh consequences. In other words, the negative aspects of ‘trumping’.
I’m grateful that millions of us ‘right-minded We the People of America’ chose sanity and Trumping before it was too late, but having said that, reforming education and the unions has become critical to our nation’s survival. Just because we see this in disgust, doesn’t equate to acceptance on the sideline. God Bless all the ‘Charlie Foxtrots’ out there plus all our VFW, Oathkeepers, Rolling Thunder and other veterans groups who remain ever vigil and still jealously guard our nation’s freedom.
In spite of dingbat idiots like Mad Maxine Waters. And EIGHTY years of age – 80!
One of the reasons the Left has gone insane over president ‘Trumping’ is because he came out of nowhere and in his typical braggadocio fashion, said he’d win the Republican nomination, and he did. Then he bragged, America would win so much, we’d get tired of winning with him as President, and though the ‘get tired of winning’ part hasn’t occurred for anyone I know, America has been winning a ton and on all fronts. In other words, ‘Trumping’ everyone and everything magnificently!
Perhaps most importantly, President Trump has changed the attitudes of many Americans, who as a whole, are optimistic again about the direction in which the nation is going, particularly regarding a more prosperous future on the horizon for their kids, something that was totally lost under Obama and the DemoMarxists.
Just think back about the fact that under ‘Obamination’, We the People were told to abandon all hope and embrace the Obama Admin brave ‘new normal’; everything the Obama administration offered to We the People who matter, was a lie. Thank God Donald J. Trump jumped into the fray and thus far, hasn’t for one single moment ever looked back!
PS – He’s been too busy Trumping – And magnificently!
Larry Alton and his piece in today’s American Thinker … ‘2018 Has Been Very Good to Trump’…
In his final day of campaigning ahead of the 2016 primary in the state of South Carolina, then-Republican nominee Donald Trump held three different rallies. Feeding off the energy of the crowd, he delivered a classic Trump line.
“We’re going to win so much,” he told thousands of supporters in attendance. “You’re going to get tired of winning. You’re going to say, ‘Please Mr. President, I have a headache. Please, don’t win so much. This is getting terrible.’ And I’m going to say, ‘No, we have to make America great again.’”
It would become one of many classic Trump quotes from the 2016 campaigning season — one that supporters would repeat with big smiles, and one that detractors would laugh about in dismissal as they mocked the real-estate tycoon’s chances of becoming president.
The notion of winning so much that people would get tired was obviously delivered tongue in cheek, but here we stand, just over two years removed from that rally, and supporters are beginning to enjoy a glimpse of what the now-president predicted back then.
“So Much Winning” in 2018
Everyone can agree that Trump had a unique strategy as a politician — and now as president. Whereas most political figures use the same safe, cookie-cutter strategies, he goes against the grain.
He uses provocative tweets and tangential tales to send the media into a frenzy. Then, have gotten the media to yammer about issues that don’t really matter, he gathers his team and goes to work, unimpeded by reporters and commentators who are busy booking segments on CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News.
While Trump’s strategy is genius, it has had at least one interesting side effect: when the Trump administration accomplishes something of substance, it often goes unnoticed. That’s because it seems far less sensational than the TMZ-like stories the media goes after in the moment.
The reality is that the Trump administration has strung together an impressive series of victories in 2018 — many of which are surprisingly bipartisan.

So much has happened since Trump took office it’s like Christmas every morning – economy, jobs, investment money coming back home; better border enforcement and fewer illegals entering our country; progress with North Korea, China and Russia; American respect regained around the world; success in Iraq and Afghanistan; rebuilding the military; helping our veterans; improving the VA; slashing regulations; killing the hated Obamacare personal mandate tax (and with it, probably Obamacare); and growing the economy at a 3+% since he took office.
Lastly but definitely not least, the successful appointment of Neil Gorsuch to replace Antonin Scalia has proven pivotal and now president ‘Trumping’ gets to appoint another conservative justice to solidify a 5-4 Conservative Court. As far as yours truly is concerned, that’s quite a rate of accomplishments in a mere (as of this date) 526 days!
Talk about MAGA!
Molon Labe` Mr. President and Semper Fi!
