Sessions hidden worm in the apple..

Go ahead, make my…

I have finally got to my wits end on where, how, what, when and who, Jeff Sessions is / was / and by whom was ‘made’ (in the Mafia sense of the word’) the GUARDIAN of the Deep State, not its worst nightmare. Am I alone in this assertion or are there others of you out there who share the same sentiment?!

Like millions of Americans I had such high hopes upon his appointment, for what he would do to right the political ship of state and bring true Law and Order back into the mainstream of American politics; especially in the first phase of draining the colossal sewer swamp corruption of Washington D.C.

I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a long time, but withholding evidence from Congress at this point is criminal. The guy I thought was one of the president’s best cabinet picks has turned out to be his worst. By a long shot.

So just what exactly is he up to?

Sessions seemingly recused himself for reasons that don’t require recusal. Rosenstein recommended firing Comey and then set up a special counsel once Trump followed his recommendation. Now we have a complete clown show that president Trump advisedly doesn’t want to interfere with for political reasons, but it’s coming to a point where he needs to act.

The Deep State will not buckle to a small group of Congressional Republicans, and time is running short leading up to the midterms to get anything done that strengthens the president’s case against the Mueller fiasco.

As Jim Holt expressed it in yesterday’s Gateway Pundit:

On Wednesday a group of 11 House Republicans introduced articles of impeachment against Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, accusing Rosenstein of intentionally withholding documents and information from Congress, failure to comply with congressional subpoenas, and abuse of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

On Thursday (as reported by Reuters) AWOL Attorney General Jeff Sessions, arguably the worst Attorney General in US history, defended dirty cop Rod Rosenstein: [“U.S. Attorney General] Jeff Sessions on Thursday defended his deputy, Rod Rosenstein, and took a swipe at fellow Republicans in Congress who moved to impeach Rosenstein, who oversees the federal probe of Russia’s role in the 2016 presidential election.”

“My deputy, Rod Rosenstein, is highly capable. I have the highest confidence in him,” Sessions said during an appearance in Boston.

“What I would like Congress to do is to focus on some of the legal challenges that are out there, including illegal immigration,” the attorney general added.[end]

So, what on earth to think? Is Sessions savvy enough as an erstwhile Vito Corleone in The Godfather – keeping his enemies close so he can destroy them later? Do we really think he has a plan brewing to wipe out all these powerful people? Or is he just hiding in a corner because they have the goods on him and he doesn’t want to end up like Seth Rich, Manafort, Flynn and countless others either jailed or gone missing from Arkancide?

We are three months from the midterms, so there’s still lots of time for the hammer to drop. As for Rosenstein, of course he doesn’t want to jeopardize criminal investigations by giving documents to Congress for someone to immediately leak them. But if nothing big happens before November, take it to the bank that they’ve been compromised by the Big Deep State Corruption Cabal and all bets are off.

Then what?
