Senate squalor C-. Now that we’re finally at the gate of decision as to who from Alabama will replace Jeff Sessions in the US Senate, let us review with some circumspection the character content of not only both gentlemen, but also of the party affiliations of each.
In today’s American Thinker, Jack Cashill has a ‘no punch-pulled’ blockbuster article titled “No One Ever Drowned in Roy Moore’s Car”, a provocative title in its own right with its hidden identity inference.
For starters, Leftists are simply not intelligent, no matter how much they preen and whine that they are. Secondly, the phrase “The end justifies the means” is about as succinct a political self-assessment as any of them could make if carefully interrogated.
It is almost consistently impossible to understand the stunning hypocrisy these leftists display. I suppose they choose the Kennedys, Clintons, Bidens, and Obamas (heck, throw in the entire DemoMarxist cabal) of the world to worship, because God places restrictions on their behavior. They don’t believe in Him anyway, since he has never been elected to any office – other than, of course, his self-elected elevation as Creator of heaven and earth. Which means diddly-squat to them all.
As to character content, if the Senate tries to examine Roy Moore they would have to thoroughly examine themselves first. Apparently there are some big names on those sexual harassment settlements, to which Roy Moore could become a neutron bomb in the Senate as he forces those complaint registers open. But why let a disaster go to waste? Senator Gillibrand took a cue from Hillary and is now crusading as the female voice of the Senate. But let’s face it. Senator Gillibrand knew it all along and only cashed in when it became politically expedient.
Which leads us to this. Both the males and females in the US Senate have stood by while many women and men have complained of being harassed or discriminated against. Under their own stated ethics they should all resign.
Jack Cashill and his opener in American Thinker…
In 1990, when liberal journalists still had some sense of obligation to the truth, Michael Kelly wrote the following for GQ:
As [Carla] Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound [Sen. Ted] Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on [Sen. Chris] Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. With Gaviglio on Dodd’s lap, Kennedy jumps on top and begins rubbing his genital area against hers, supporting his weight on the arms of the chair. As he is doing this, Loh enters the room. She and Gaviglio both scream, drawing one or two dishwashers. Startled, Kennedy leaps up. He laughs. Bruised, shaken and angry over what she considered a sexual assault, Gaviglio runs from the room.
The incident above took place in 1985 at the restaurant La Brasserie in Washington, D.C., where Loh and Gavigilio both worked as waitresses. Everyone in Washington knew about it, including Sen. Claire McCaskill. Here is what McCaskill had to say about Kennedy’s behavior upon his death in 2009:
This man was so much more than his image. While his vision soared, the power of his personality and the magnet of his intellect drew his colleagues to the table of compromise. It was there he did his best work. His love for the little guy and his affection for the underdog influenced everything he did. And importantly, his sense of humor and contagious laughter made him real and approachable in spite of his power and privilege.
Although more than enough to kill a Republican’s career, the infamous “waitress sandwich” barely made Kennedy’s highlight reel. For sheer moral squalor, it was hard to top Chappaquiddick.

By all accounts, Judge Moore has been completely faithful since he found and married his wife (who is younger by almost 15 years). A true child molester, which Judge Moore clearly is not, cannot help himself and continues his bad behavior throughout adult life. Judge Moore has had only two serious accusers and they have both been shown to be lowlife liars with immoral motives such as attention seeking, monetary gain, revenge for other than the accused wrongdoing and political bias.
Roy Moore will be a much needed conservative voice in the senate. MAGA!
