Schiff shifted away in shifty shame..

Go ahead, make my..

We’ve decided not to vote on impeachment and if this angers you, I suggest you contact the office of Adam Schiff and voice your protest with him there. Thank you. ~ Madam Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Considering his present mood, president Trump likely would figure that censure from the dark side wouldn’t be meaningless, it would be a total and very public surrender. It would resolve that they have nothing after years of claiming they had absolute proof (yet thanks to Schiff, producing none of it), not forgetting multiple years and millions of public dollars-worth of shadowy ‘investigations’.

It would also drive the rabid left totally over the edge, having been ‘betrayed’ by their own leadership and colleagues. They’ve already promised to primary anyone who opposes them, but in reality, most of the filing deadlines have passed or are so close that unless they have someone ready to go NOW they won’t be ready in time.

So they’re currently stuck between a rock and a hard place, going nowhere, and all entirely on the backs of Pelosi and Schiff. It also puts all the candidates who came out in favor of impeachment in a bind; but they can do nothing except blame their leadership and colleagues for being gutless. Or pretend they never said they were in favor anyway.

Neither is going to play well. If these polls about Black and Hispanic support of Trump being in the 30% range is true, this spells really bad news for the DemoMarxocrats in what was thought of as safe dark blue districts and states. The problem that Pelosi has is there are almost as many Dems that are demanding an impeachment vote, putting her in a serious catch-22 situation from the squad mob.

Then there’s the ‘legacy’ media stuck with their latest certain-to-remove-Trump story blowing up in their hyperbolic red faces yet again, blowing away any credibility with more than a room temperature IQ left to ponder.

Monica Showalter in today’s American Thinker and ‘That crackling sound before the avalanche’…

Well, gee: The impeachment hearings are apparently all wrapped up, with impeachment-master Rep. Adam Schiff preparing his report to the House Judiciary Committee. It’s a done deal. Game over. Clear as day. Even Peggy Noonan herself said so.

Except that with all this grand showcasing and unity talk, Democrats are now…heading for the hills.

Here’s a bad one, at least, from the Democrat point of view:

Michigan Democratic Rep. Brenda Lawrence, a prominent supporter of Kamala Harris who has previously supported the impeachment inquiry into President Trump, abruptly announced Sunday that she no longer saw any “value” in the process and called for her fellow Democrats to throw their support behind a symbolic censure resolution.

Lawrence’s about-face came as polls have shown that independents are souring on the idea of impeaching and removing Trump from office, including in critical battleground states like Wisconsin, even as House Democrats aggressively presented their focus-group-tested “bribery” case against the president over the past two weeks.[-]

[+] … And right at the critical moment, with the impeachment sort of wrapped up, she’s getting the heck out of Dodge. She’s bailing on them. She says she’ll be happy with “censure,” a meaningless gesture. She doesn’t want to go down with the sinking impeachment ship. She knows trouble when she sees it, even from in the safest of the safe districts, and she wants out. That’s colossally bad news for Democrats, who’ve put all their eggs in the impeachment basket, because that’s all they’ve got.[-]

[+] … Lawrence’s exit means something. This could be the start of an avalanche of defections for Democrats. Impeachment is going to lose, even if it passes in the House. Who wants to be a loser if it can be avoided? These Democrats are getting out before the whole thing takes them down as losers, too. If this is the logic, then this is going to turn into an avalanche.[end]

Mmmm … Now this is interesting. As I close this, it would appear that Brenda Lawrence is revising her statement – the Dem brigade no doubt telling the woman to stifle it. Or ELSE!

Yup, seems like she’s recanted her statement and she’s back on board. Typical example of the Demwits enforcing ‘party unity’ and the pressure is severe.

Actually in retrospect, this might just work for them, although our fearless president Trump might hurt himself from laughing too hard (but we certainly hope not!).

And on that note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – President Donald J. Trump – MAGA! KAG!
