En Garde in the bunker…

Thankfully, like millions more I like order, believe in God, follow the 10 commandments, wake up happy every single day, and try to spread that happiness with everyone I come in contact with. Life is so short, as I found out yet again on my recent sojourn in my native Britain. So many extended family members and dearly-beloved friends answering the final curtain.

Granted, at times, the Left and evildoers occasionally win, but what a total waste of a life spent hating everything and everyone. As Dennis Prager often puts it ‘the Left is a whirlwind of chaos’.

Vern Crisler, a great thread commenter, puts it thusly:

“The ends justifies the means” is what the Left (demonRats) are all about and it fits perfectly. They are a political party full of anti-God, anti-Life, anti-Freedom, anti-Truth, anti-Republic; pieces of pro-socialist, communist pieces of red liberal fecal matter. They are beyond reasoning with. They have to keep race issues festering because they NEED it to not be healed; and not because they caused most of it from their history to the present. Black voters and Jewish voters have been brainwashed nearly beyond repair by [the Left’s] hateful, divisive message. I do like president Ronald Reagan’s quote: “It’s not that liberals are stupid, it is just that they know so much that simply isn’t so”. I used to agree with the entirety of that quote. Now, I tend to disagree with the first part of it![end]

My own two-cents-worth posits that, for far too many years now, the danger to America begins in the kindergartens, becomes amplified in the elementary, middle, and high schools, until finally reaching colleges and universities, where every message of order, optimism, positivity, and reasoned compassion is continually shouted down. The current scandal on rampant corruption in the colleges (particularly the Ivy League) is simply the endgame of this massive infiltration of the Left into United States ‘education’.

The Democrat Party has lost its mind. What’s happening there, however, is not happening in isolation. In society and in life nothing happens in isolation.

There’s a word that describes the Party’s behavior: nihilism: “a viewpoint that traditional values and beliefs are unfounded and that existence is senseless and useless, a doctrine that denies any objective ground of truth and especially moral truths.”

That definition fits the current Democrat Party. The Party and the left place little or no value on tradition, the Constitution, the sanctity of life, borders, private property rights, voting-law enforcement, election outcomes, standards of behavior, or free speech. These are all fundamentally different kinds of rules or systems of rules. The left does not like rules (at least not for themselves).

If you do not like rules, you do not like order, and the alternative to order is chaos. The Democrat Party is attempting to lead the country into chaos. Once you recognize that the Democrat Party is nihilistic it becomes easier to understand why they think and act as they do.

Jordan Peterson’s profoundly brilliant and important book is titled 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote for Chaos. In it he writes “Chaos and order make up the eternal, transcendent environment of the living.” Chaos and order also define one of the important differences between liberals and conservatives.

As President Trump has said, “If you don’t have borders you don’t have a country.” That’s actually fine with the Democrats and the left. For example, Democrats want to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE). They not only want to prevent more border wall being built, some of them want to tear down the wall already in place.

If America is to survive, we the American people must get serious about taking back our educational institutions from the liberal progressive nihilists, and restoring them as places where American Values and American Exceptionalism are taught to our children.

The nihilist Left, in all of its manifestations, is without understanding that they were created in the image of God to inhabit His love and fulfill his purposes – and that He has prepared a place for those who love Him.

But the Left is not alone in this malcontent.

Even as I write, the forces are against our president within the halls of Congress, even in his own party, to prevent him from fulfilling his duties as president, particularly on the defense of the nation through border walls and security.

To finish up from my opening paragraph, Scripture has a far more graphic explanation of who they are, as in:

‘But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
