If I didn’t know any better I would declare that we have an enemy within. But wait, silly me.
Congress created a ‘national emergency’ at the border, and then proceeded to argue in essence, that the President can’t declare an emergency because THEY already created it. There!
The plain fact of the matter is however, that better than any other issue, President Trump’s declaration of an emergency revealed the true face of Congress, especially among GOP senators.
With more than a dozen of said senators against the declaration, it has become obvious that they are only concerned with serving themselves and the special interests who pay them (CoC perhaps the main one since the cash-flow seems endless).
Meanwhile, the despicable growing group of GOP senators, now including Chuck Grassley, Rand Paul and others, have all got blinders on and have become a huge disappointment, apparently unable to see the forest for the trees. And these are not incompatible metaphors. Simply descriptives for the enemy within.

They once would give glimmers of hope that our President actually has reliable partners in the business of cleaning up the mess of the deep state Washington DC sewer swamp, but as usual these feckless wonders have tuck-tailed and made a run for it. Skedaddled, even.
Were this otherwise Congress would pass laws removing the many enticements for illegal immigration, such as welfare payments, etc. Seems the DemoRINOMarxists have a working majority in the Senate as well as in the House.
Clear-headed patriots see ‘The Wall’ as a must, but the bigger problem remains with our so-called leaders’ inability to follow laws that are already on the books. Congress has dug its feet in allowing wide open borders, mass migration and resettlement. President Trump is making as much of a difference as he can but the boys and girls down the street under that big dome are the culprits.
They cowardly refuse to enforce immigration laws already on the books – the very laws THEY passed. They cringe, whine and soil themselves at the very idea of getting really tough and acting like a nation that wants to remain sovereign, safe and prosperous.
In other words – they’ve morphed into the enemy within stonewalling the border.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection has released its February statistics on apprehensions at the border.
More than 76,000 illegal border crossers were caught in the month of February alone, with 66,450 of those either unaccompanied “children” (read: gang-aged young men) or else people traveling as claimed family units, authentic or otherwise. Some of the press seems to be misreading the charts to suggest that the entire total was 66,450, but the official statistics (shown in the chart above) demonstrate that that number was just the ‘moms and kids’ of the group. There were more than 10,000 others, seen on the chart above it, and with a harder time claiming asylum as single adults, rest assured, not all of those crossers were actually caught.
It’s not really that surprising, either – it’s right on track with a major Gallup poll of Latin Americans released last month showing that five million foreign nationals south of our border are planning to come to the U.S., legally or otherwise in 2019. The Gallup poll found a 40% rise in the worldwide desire to immigrate, and Central American countries showing some of the highest percentage totals within that group – 52% of Salvadorans and 47% of Hondurans wanting to leave. The Guatamalan stats must be comparable, given the very large numbers of those nationals being apprehended at the U.S. border, although Guatemala is about twice the size populationwise of the other two.

The sellout of our sovereignty as a nation must be brought to a halt. It seems the people with which some find themselves complicit (the enemy within), shows just how scatter-brained and dangerous the DNC has become, helped along it must be said, by the congressional RINOs. The nation-packing scheme they already have underway shows they don’t care one wit about anybody. Particularly those of us with current LEGAL residency of the United States.
According to the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s 2017 report, illegal immigrants, and their children, cost American taxpayers a net $116 billion annually – roughly $7,000 per alien annually. While high, this number is not an outlier: a recent study by the Heritage Foundation found that low-skilled immigrants (including those here illegally) cost Americans trillions over the course of their lifetimes, and a study from the National Economics Editorial found that illegal immigration costs America over $140 billion annually.
As it stands, illegal immigrants are a massive burden on American taxpayers, and it must be ended.
Warrior-President Trump is trying his darnedest to fight the battle, but the enemy within and almost everyone and everything around him seem to be against everything he’s doing, except his base.
