For the record, ‘double standard’ implies the existence of a primary or fundamental standard. This is virtually impossible in the Leftist DemoMarxocrat Communist world. Such standards are born of morality, conscience and high ethics. Leftist DemoMarxocrat Communist standards are devised on the spot to meet the immediate needs of the current agenda or situation. Hence their reactions are predictable and understandable. Quack! Quack! Quack! Or something close.
Double standard, it is. Quack, quack, quack, or not.
There was a very short, sharp, pithy piece in Saturday’s American Thinker from Douglas Herz which (as we would say in my younger days in Britain) I’m pinching. It goes:
Hypocrisy was at its worst on Friday as liberals, leftists, and Democrat apparatchiks exploded in a paroxysm of hatred toward America, our values, our troops, our allies, and our president upon the announcement that Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani had been killed in a U.S. drone strike. The cowardly, lying, bullying hypocrites of the left predictably could not stand anything that this president does, even when it is meant to protect them, their families, and all Americans. Even a CNN military analyst, Major Gen. James A. “Spider” Marks (ret.), attempted to calm the raging lunatics, who appeared to have forgotten that their messiah, BHO, ordered the killing of OBL on his watch…a similar act (and probably the only significant achievement of his miserable, failed presidency).

Trump Derangement Syndrome has clearly metastasized into permanent Trump Dementia. Each achievement by Republicans is met with greater and greater hostility from the institutionally hypocritical left, never mind the facts or the truth. Laws go by the wayside, and due process is ignored…any action is permissible, no matter how unlawful or appalling, if the goal is for Democrats to gain power. This sort of boundless stupidity serves only to expand and reinforce Trump’s support and add many more donations to his 2020 re-election campaign. Perhaps we should thank them. [end]
Concomitant with Herz’ short commentary was a more sobering yet no less enlightening piece from regular contributor, Monica Showalter, getting down and deep into the unmitigated evil and horror perpetrated by this now very dead monster of Monsters. In a very measured and concise way, she highlights 10 horrors of horrors that this creep and his fellow-creepers, inflicted on the innocents around the globe to fortify their own misery upon the nations who wouldn’t cooperate with them.

As creeps like Rep. Ilhan Omar denounce the rubout of Iranian terrorist kingpin Qassem Soleimani as the killing of a “foreign official,” the press calls him “a farm boy” or “icon,” and stupid Hollywood celebrities send their condolences to “the Iranian people,” (who are celebrating, actually) the ugly hard reality remains that Qassem Soleimani, leader of the terrorist Quds force, was a monster, a stone-cold killer of innocents, the driving force behind Iran as a state sponsor of terror. His funeral song should be “That Smell.” He stunk of death all around him and liked the stench.
But this isn’t stopping the left from lionizing the beast. Here’s a list, in no particular order, of the worst of what he did:
1. Assassination. The left may rail about the targeted killing of Soleimani as an ‘assassination’ but killing heads of state was Soleimani’s stock in trade. He was behind the 2005 bomb murder of Lebanon’s beloved president, Rafik Hariri.
2. Mass killings of American military targets. In 1983, Soleiman was involved in the Beirut barracks bombing. Acting in the mullah regime’s interests, his idea was to drive U.S. forces out through use of Iran’s little pawn, Hezb’allah.
3. Mass killings of more American military targets. In 1996, Soleimani and his buddies sent in a truck bomb to blow up the Khobar Towers in naked warfare to advance Iran’s interests. Iran had a problem with the U.S. teaming up with the Saudis to fortify the nation from extremist attacks.
4. Targeting of diplomatic compounds, Part I: Soleimani went after American civilians, too, and anyone associated with them in his twin bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania in 1998, killing 224 innocents, mostly Africans who either worked at the facilities or were passers by. 4,000 more were injured.
5. Actual war on U.S. troops during the Iraq war. Andrew McCarthy writes: “Our government estimates that he was responsible for the killing of more than 600 U.S. troops during the fighting in Iraq — and that represents just some of his anti-American operations, coordinating the networks that target Americans and our interests throughout the region.” He wasn’t satisfied with the passive-aggressive kind of warfare on civilians, he moved into full frontal warfare with the Americans.

Double standard four horsemen of the apocalypse
What Pelosi, Schumer, Schiffty and the entire anti-American demoMarxocrat enemies within are wailing about, was a despicable, murderous, sadistic sub-human savage who took pleasure in killing hundreds of US troops and thousands of civilians, but they don’t have the slightest compassion for his victims and their families. Shame, shame, shame, on the entire bunch of ’em… Talk about a double standard, the demoMarxocrats are full of it!
Not to make too light of the matter, but images of crowds of people walking around, surrounding a ‘box’ supposedly the ‘body-coffin’ of their hero, doesn’t pass muster. By the time that laser-guided Hellfire missile coded MQ-9 Reaper torched that vehicle at 230 MPH in tight quarters, ‘vapor’ is about all that was left on the tarmac. Carried around in a coffin?! They scraped this guy and his buddies off the pavement with a shovel. The only recognizable part was his hand with that cheesy pawn shop ring on his nasty finger. A shoe box would have sufficed.
Those Hellfire missiles travelling at Mach 1.3 do one heck of a job on murderous thugs like Soleimani. The surveillance video is classic. Car. FLASH! No car… splatter marks of this guy and his attendants on the guard wall. Justice served on the very same road where he orchestrated the deaths of many Americans. One hopes he and his evil buddies had a few seconds to know just what was headed his way. A double standard Hell in a basket!
