Democrat left snubs ME peace plan

Go ahead, make my…

Democrat left snubs ME peace plan. Mmmm … so a Biden (D – gag!) or a Harris (D – double-gag!) might not honor a treaty signed by their predecessor in the name of the United States. So what else is new with this version of Democrat – ‘shameful’ still applies.

We’ve seen it before, so nothing surprises. In 2004, Bush Jr. reached an understanding with Israel’s PM Ariel Sharon regarding borders and settlement blocs, confirmed in an exchange of letters. Problem was by 2008, however, OBO#44 and sidekick dementia-Joe were planted into office and determined that they weren’t bound to that understanding, and thereby explicitly repudiated the entire procedure. With one move, they undermined the so-called ‘Presidential credibility’ of George W. Bush, as any such agreements were then subject to the outcome of a future election. But there was more!

Cast your mind back to the time when OBO#44’s contempt for Bibi Netanyahu was despicable. He had Netanyahu leave through a kitchen backdoor at the White House. Not even a meal, no State dinner, nothing. Coupled with Pelosi’s disgusting display of her backside to Netanyahu, as he walked on stage before Congress, was about as disrespectful as her tearing up Trump’s speech, if not more so.

Democrat left snubs ME peace plan…

Fast-forward – albeit on a sarcastic note – to yesterday when there was an historic peace agreement being signed between Israel and multiple Arab countries lauded by everyone on the planet with an ounce of intelligence on foreign relationships, only for prancy-Nancy Pelosi of all people, to get her head out of her butt and shuffle it off somewhere in a ‘video of distraction’. Add the scabs belonging to the MSM deep state swamp who ignored the whole thing entirely, and you get the picture.

Insane-asylum Harris-Biden-Pelosi good; President Donald John Trump peacemaker bad!

At every turn the Democrat left and Liberal leftists prove how unqualified they are to handle foreign policy. Along with every other aspect of running the government for the benefit of We the (63 million) American people.

Andrea Widburg, American Thinker: ‘Trump brings Peace to Middle East, Democrats not Impressed’…

On Tuesday, President Trump welcomed to the White House Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the foreign ministers representing the UAE and Bahrain. They gathered there to sign the Abraham Accord, a history-making agreement that sees two Muslim nations formally normalize their relationship with the world’s only Jewish state. Trump also hinted that several more Muslim countries would follow, including Saudi Arabia. Trump is doing what everyone said was impossible: Bringing peace to the Middle East. Democrats, however, responded by downplaying and attacking the agreement.

The participants were excited because they recognized that they are the first in a cascade of peace agreements that coming. By sidelining the Palestinians, Trump was able to make the UAE and Bahrain – and will be able to make other Sunni states – see that a relationship with Israel is beneficial for them. The UAE isn’t hiding its pleasure with the new status quo…

Ethel C. Fenig, American Thinker: ‘Somewhat Optimistic about the Abraham Accords’…

The wild optimism that greeted the oh, so public handshake for peace on the White House lawn between the PLO’s Yasser Arafat, no peace be upon him, and Israel’s Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, of blessed memory, with a beaming President Bill Clinton (D) in the middle, 27 years ago; the wild optimism that greeted the Camp David Accords, facilitated by President Jimmy Carter (D) between Egypt’s President Anwar Sadat, now deceased, and Israel’s Prime Minister Menachem Begin, of blessed memory, 41 years ago; the wild optimism that greeted the Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty signed by Jordan’s late Prime Minister Abdul-Salam Majali and Yitzhak Rabin 26 years ago also during the Clinton presidency; and the harsh reality that followed each of these events dampen slightly my wild optimism — oh, how I want to believe — about the results of the Abraham Accords signed on the White House lawn between Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Persian Gulf States that constitute the United Arab Emirates, represented by minister of foreign affairs of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani and minister of foreign affairs for the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyani.  And, of course, the United States’ President Donald J. Trump (R).

To be fair, the NYT (rhymes with ‘slimes’) also published an op-ed by Bret Stephens that was at least a little warmer. It ended:

A final point about these deals: This wasn’t supposed to happen. Not under the leadership of Israel’s supposedly bellicose Benjamin Netanyahu; certainly not through the diplomatic offices of the usually crazy/amateurish/perverse Trump administration. Luck and timing played a part, as they always do.

What Donald Trump did here was nothing short of brilliant. It was brilliant on the level of Churchill rebutting Chamberlain on Nazi aggression. Trump sidelines the Palestinians, revealed them for who they are, a little irritating splinter in the Middle East region.

Trump said in essence, “The Palestinians are nothing. Your best bet for peace and a growing economy is to side with Israel.” And he is right of course. The UAE will see a large increase in air travel as passengers from Israel will stop over there on their way to the far east. The larger players like Saudi Arabia are eager to get in on the action as well.

Imagine what four more years of Trump’s “Arab Fall” will bring. I strongly suspect a lot more deals next year with the Trump administration.

But it behooves those of us who are so frequently hostile to Netanyahu and Trump to maintain the capacity to be pleasantly surprised — that is, to be honest. What’s happened between Israel and two former enemies is an honest triumph in a region, and a year, that’s known precious few.

That’s probably about the best we could have expected from the MSM.

And on that note, time for today’s MAGA Pill – President Donald J. Trump working tirelessly for America and the world – MAGA! KAG!
