I’ve been somewhat assuredly informed that president Trump is currently more involved with the Deep State than many (including yours truly) give him credit for. If he wasn’t, he wouldn’t have jumped in to sort the mess out in the first place. Fact is there’s something of a Deep State civil war going on right now, sort of a ‘nationalist vs globalists’ thingy, which is showing up as just a ‘blip on the radar.’
Although his being cognitively instinctive (not to mention appealing) in viewing things in a binary good vs evil fashion – reality, including and involving human beings – is a far more nuanced and messy operation.
Basically Trump’s classification order last May placed AG Barr in charge of ALL classifications involving these political matters and investigations etc. Which means he gets to put a lid on it all and only release what he wants, when he wants, and how he wants.
It certainly doesn’t mean that he’s going to release everything he can, many of which it seems (again, including yours truly) assumed when that order was issued.

To put things in proper Deep State perspective, the U.S. shadow-establishment has 1) been engaged militarily in the Middle East since 1990. Not to the benefit of the average American. 2) has gutted the farm and rust belts to benefit globalists via China and others. Not to the benefit of the average American. 3) utilizes drug and human trafficking to meet their ends. Not to the benefit of the average American. and 4) works via interlocking multinational corporations to undermine U.S. sovereignty. Not to the benefit of the average American.
The ability of the establishment Deep State to continue in all of the above must be destroyed, and might well take decades. But yet, it is a fight worth fighting for to the benefit of all average American citizens. Just remember that there are more of us than them. We can win, if we want to win.

Maria Bartiromo had initially reported the IG report on the Carter Page FISA situation was going to be released around the end of this week … but is now reporting a delay.
It’s the “classifications being made” part that raises concern. President Trump granted Attorney General Bill Barr with declassification authority on May 23rd, 2019, so that any classification issues could be minimized and maximum transparency afforded.
WHITE HOUSE: (MAY 23rd) “Today, at the request and recommendation of the Attorney General of the United States, President Donald J. Trump directed the intelligence community to quickly and fully cooperate with the Attorney General’s investigation into surveillance activities during the 2016 Presidential election.

Just a reminder. Warrior-president Trump usually always wins, being the type of person who feels pretty confident of a certain outcome when he makes a decision. In this case regarding declassification, Trump has essentially placed all of his eggs in one basket, and that is Bill Barr.
To his credit, Barr is nothing if not careful and deliberate. We have little to go on but by appearances, he seems to be talking with all the right people as this continues. But here’s the mistake people continue to make as it pertains to Barr and all the rest. No one can see into the eye of the storm. It’s obscured from view intentionally for reasons which may be professional (or even evil). So we all tend to look elsewhere to gain clues.
A very risky position to take, unless the president is highly confident that Barr will come through.
We’re very close to knowing whether justice will prevail, or if there will be continued cover up regarding the sins of the deep state.
That is how the movie in my head plays out so far. I like to look where I’m supposed to look, but I also like to look on the periphery as well. We can’t see what they don’t want us to see. But we can get clues based on reactions out there. And that’s about all we’ve got.
If Barr blinks on this, then our country is in very deep trouble ahead. The stakes are as high as it gets.
