Something astonishing (which I term ‘terrorism under a different banner’) happened over the weekend that I think most of America missed, so as an introduction let me first begin with a couple of paragraphs from Conservative Treehouse commenter hashtag ‘dalethorn’, and another from commenter ‘mike’:

Believe it or not, once upon a time the FBI would have the cojones to storm into the problem areas of Chicago occasionally and haul in all the criminal masterminds (anybody remember Eliot Ness?); but seemingly not any more, since BarryO and company subverted the FBI.

Lately Chicago has become the terrorism capital of the United States.

Just imagine if you will, had the $17 million spent in the last year by ‘Special Counsel Mueller’ and his so-called team of bloodhounds been invested in an Eliot Ness-type anti-gang, anti-drug task force assigned to the new terrorism murder city of Chicago. Instead of indicting 12-24 ‘Russians’ who will never be extradited, never be tried, or convicted; or going after Flynn, Papadopoulos and Gates for ‘lying’ to the FBI; or crushing Paul Manafort with threats of a life sentence for tax fraud, how about instead going after the real criminals?

Like say, a couple of hundred violent drug-dealing gang members and taking them off the Chicago streets, which would send a message to terrorism wannabees, that maybe thug life isn’t for them. Also, there just might be a few million left over to offer educational and job opportunities in the ‘hood, to close out these vicious gangs for good.

History has demonstrated however, that no one cares less about the quality if life in inner city Chicago than the Democrat politicians who have run Chicago rabid for ever.

Well folks, don’t worry, BarryO and his Chicago Mafia had their own celebration going on over the same weekend with (gulp!) the inauguration of something called – well, see and read for yourself ….

1st Barack Obama Day in Illinois Saturday

Illinois is marking its first Barack Obama Day.

As the Conservative Treehouse put it:

Good grief, this is horrific. ABC News Chicago is reporting that over 60 people have been shot, with 9 killed, in Chicago just this weekend (Friday through Sunday).

(Chicago)  Dozens of people were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Friday, police said.  One paramedic described the evening as “a war zone.”

Since midnight, police said 43 people have been shot, six fatally. Since Friday at 5 p.m., 60 people have been shot, nine fatally, in shootings in Chicago.

34 of the shootings and five deaths occurred between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, according to police. During one two-and-a-half hour-hour period, 25 people were shot in five multi-injury shootings.  (read more)

Twenty five people shot in two-and-a-half hours ! How can these neighborhoods even function?

Perhaps it’s time to call in the national guard?

So just what have the Democrat politicians done to help?

1) Declared Chicago a sanctuary city. Thereby dooming it with an increase in terrorism.

2) Allocated monies from its scarce resources to provide legal assistance to illegal aliens.

3) Promoted hatred and distrust for the police (who else do law abiding inner city residents have to call in an emergency?) and…

4) throw an officer to the wolves if there’s even a question that a split second decision was the wrong one.

Because of the extremely anti-police atmosphere, police don’t do preventive policing and so crime is more rampant because the gangs and drug dealers take advantage and terrorize the residents. Because no one will cooperate with the police, only 25% of homicides are solved. And eyeing the future Hispanic votes, the Democrats have increasingly turned their back on Black Americans.

But never mind, Chicagoans – help is at hand with the celebration of the New York Times ‘1st Barack Obama Day in Illinois Saturday’, which is quite a mouthful in itself. O – but wait, come think of it, it’s a perfect fit for the recipient. The perfect blowhard for Bloviating Bullcrap.

There, I knew it would work perfectly. Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish the terrorist from the good guys.
