Following on from yesterday’s “Collaborating to take down Trump” David Horowitz chimes in with an editorial of his own in his FrontPageMag about what the real purpose was behind the Charlottesville mayhem. Race war.

But first, a little commentary of my own.

There is a straight line connecting Jefferson (“We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”) with Martin Luther King (“Judge by the content of one’s character, not by the color of one’s skin”) with nary a word or thought about race war.

The Leftists totally reject this. The leftist dream was written by Plato in ‘The Republic’, which was nothing more than a totalitarian state governed by the self-appointed intellectual elite. In order for this nightmare to become reality on our home shores, the Left has decided that the American ethic must be subverted and morphed into a meme of race war.

Rather than We the People identifying ourselves as individuals within our own country, the Left has determined that we must be divided by membership into artificial physical groups. In other words, arranged as in a race war. The Left is then free to inflame relationships between these groups in order that the machinery of bureaucratic government (ie the DemoMarxist left) be trundled in to keep the peace. (‘Piece’, also works, as in ‘piecefully robbing the Treasury’).

As Horowitz himself declares: “Every black in America owes his or her freedom to Jefferson and the hundreds of thousands of white Americans who gave their lives to free them. They were enslaved by Africans and freed by Americans. This is the history that the left desperately seeks to erase.” Yup – a race war.

The tragedy in Charlottesville could have been an occasion to stop and consider how the tolerance for politically correct violence and politically correct hatred is leading the nation towards civil war. Instead the media and the political left have turned this incident into the biggest fake news story of the summer, transforming its real lessons into a morality play that justifies war against the political right, and against white people generally.

The organizers of the “Unite the Right” demonstration in Charlottesville were repellent racists. But they came to defend a historic monument honoring a complex man and cause, and not to attack it or presumably anyone else. They applied for a permit and were denied. They re-applied successfully in a petition supported by the local ACLU. If they had come to precipitate violence, why would they have gone to the tedious trouble of applying for a permit? Who knows what – if anything – would have happened if that had been the end of the story and no one had showed up to oppose them.

What “Unite the Right” actually demonstrated was that the assortment of neo-Nazis, pro-Confederates and assorted yahoos gathered under the banner of the “Alt-Right” is actually a negligible group. This was a national show of strength that actually attracted only a few hundred people. Compare that to the tens of the thousands who can readily be marshalled by two violent groups of the left – Black Lives Matter and Antifa – and you get an idea of how marginal “white supremacists” are to America’s political and cultural life.

If I get this right, it started out as a conservative political rally, and it was then attacked by violent leftists inciting a riot in which a young woman was killed, after which it suddenly became about race rather than ideology. Quite magical how the Left does that, eh? Race war.

And that appears to be the problem doesn’t it? More than half of the American public in alliance with the Big Media Fake News outfits seem to be short on attention span these days, and it boggles the mind that people can swallow all the propaganda regarding this incident. And while Trump is who he is, I don’t think anyone would admit that what he said was untrue. Both parties are culpable for the violence.

How any barely-aware white person could possibly support or vote Democrat at this point is beyond me. I am of course not talking about the demonic professoriat that is committed to “world revolution,” or the majority of the black and Hispanic populations, who are ready to hate ‘whitey’ at the drop of a hat. I’m talking about the everyman white. For him to vote Democrat is to vote his demise. Call it part of the race war.

The entire responsibility for the Charlottesville violence is on the heads of the DemoMarxist prog fascists. They came only for a fight and they got it in self-defense by the Alt-Right folks. Heck we even know that the leader of the alt-right rally is in fact a Soros or maybe FBI plant. The perfect scenario for a hellbent race war.

Buckle up folks – It could be a very rough, rocky and bumpy ride to freedom…
