As an opener into the prescience of true leadership featured in The American Spectator, I can do no better than to parrot thread commenter with the handle (suitably named) ‘Atlas Shrugged’ – as in…

While it is true that Ronald Wilson Reagan’s prescience kept the liberal media in line (mainly by taking full advantage of his actor skills and making fun of them!), President Trump has them on the ground and is kicking and stomping the living snot out of them.

President Reagan over the course of four years, ultimately scorched the way ahead by making use of much-needed reforms, along with the emergence of the tech industry to get the economy back on its feet … Whereas President Trump has inspired so much confidence over the past almost three years since he declared his candidacy that his words alone have been enough to get the economy moving again, and that before he even took office.

The election of Ronald Reagan was the key factor in yours truly migrating into eventual USA citizenship, so to me he’ll always be the man who gave America the modern conservative movement. Including it must be said, the slogan ‘Make America Great Again’. ‘Prescience’, in the decades-long distance between the two leaders, is proving its true worth, seeing that President Trump has evolved into the man who polished and perfected both the movement and the slogan!

The media, in its frenzy to normalize left-wing political espionage, says simultaneously of the Nunes memo: there is nothing to see in it, but don’t look.

The intensity of the media’s attacks on a Republican is always in proportion to the degree to which he is impeding one of its causes. The doggedness of Nunes — his refusal to let a politicized FBI and Justice Department stonewall his committee — has thrown considerable light on the real scandal of 2016: not that Trump colluded with the Russians to win but that the Obama administration colluded with Hillary to defeat him.

One government most certainly did meddle in the election — ours. In desperate denial mode, the media will talk about everything but the fact that the United States government was spying on one campaign by using opposition research from the other, all while hoodwinking FISA court judges and leaking to the press about its politicized investigation.

The more that the probe is put under the microscope, the more outrageous it appears, with Hillary partisans and Trump haters figuring into it at every crucial turn. Hillary didn’t need a campaign headquarters in Brooklyn; she already had one in Washington, D.C. John Brennan, auditioning to be her CIA director, laid the groundwork for the Trump-Russia probe by hyping bogus intelligence; Trump hater Peter Strzok formally opened the probe at the FBI just weeks after whitewashing Hillary’s mishandling of emails; the slop of Christopher Steele, Hillary’s opposition researcher, served as the basis for spying on all of Carter Page’s communications with the Trump campaign, while the spouse of a Justice Department official involved in the probe shoveled more of the slop to her husband.

Like Watergate, the probe was not only amateurish and paranoid but fruitless.

On to Neumayr and Tyrrell, Jr …

Hillary Clinton has a long history of hiring private investigators to harass opponents. She famously unleashed San Francisco PI Jack Palladino on Gennifer Flowers. So it is not at all surprising to find one of these dirt-diggers at the center of the scandal around the bogus dossier she paid ex-British spy Christopher Steele to assemble. It turns out that Steele, whose credentials the media insists are so impeccable, served as a conduit between the FBI and Cody Shearer, one of Hillary’s scummiest hatchet men. That alone shatters Steele’s much-vaunted “credibility.”

In years past, Shearer served the Clintons as an extinguisher of sex scandals. In 2016, he helped Hillary try to create one. Steele sent to the FBI Shearer’s anti-Trump smears in an attempt to back up his notorious “pee tape” dossier. Here is the Washington Post’s description of the hand-off:

In October, [Steele] shared with his contacts at the bureau another report he had received from a State Department employee about Trump and Russia, according to people familiar with the document. It was written by Cody Shearer, a freelance journalist who was friends with Hillary and Bill Clinton. Shearer gave it to author and Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, who transmitted it to Jonathan Winer, then a State Department official.

The memo claimed that a source inside the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) spy agency alleged that Trump had financial ties to influential Russians and that the FSB had evidence of him engaging in compromising personal behavior, according to a copy obtained by The Post.

Given Steele’s penchant for using himself as a source — the Nunes memo shows that he managed to get the FBI to use one of his planted stories in the press as “corroboration” of his dossier in a FISA warrant — the supposedly separate Shearer report in all likelihood was just another smoke-and-mirrors attempt by Steele to amplify his dossier while simply regurgitating it.

Steele created a maze in which his smoke could waft through various doors: a pliable press, a politicized FBI, “Russian sources” that for all we know were nothing more than disinformation specialists, and Hillary’s campaign hacks. Does it really matter whether Steele was laundering his lies through Shearer or Shearer through Steele? The whole business is from beginning to end a Hillary-financed smear, no matter how you slice it.

For my mid-70+ years on the planet (more then 50 of which have been in North America) Ronaldus Maximus and Donaldo Maximus and their prescience are definitely the best Presidents in my lifetime. It is early after one-year and President Trump seems to have done more in his first year in office. The attacks on President Reagan and President Trump are similar in their invective. Where President Reagan would say “Well, there you go, again”, President Trump will punch-back and go directly to the American people on Twitter, in personal appearances, and in addressing the American People at rallies.

BTW, if CA, WA, IL, NY and NJ can Nullify Federal Laws, how long will it take for TX, the Carolinas, TN and KY, the heartland and West to use NULLIFICATION against DC Laws for redistribution of wealth to the bankrupt Democrat States?
