OIG hidden in shadow government

Go ahead, make my…

There’s a commenter on various news threads that I both post in and research, who goes by the name of ‘Schmutzli’ who grabbed my attention the other day as I was prepping this post for content. To put it all into context, it’s a response to the article coming up from David Catron in The American Spectator ominously titled ‘Why the OIG Report Should Scare the Hell out of You’, with a sub-heading – ‘The OIG is infected by a far more dangerous disease than political bias — fear.’

Take a read…

“Congressional Committees. The Office of the Inspector General. Internal Affairs Divisions. Federal Prosecutors. Independent prosecutors. Grand Juries. Each one a step in a never ending process of ‘investigations’, all on the same road to nowhere. All designed to produce sound and fury, but to accomplish nothing.”

“With such distinct and uncrossable borderlines (too bad we don’t have the same view of our national borders with respect to the illegal invasion) and ‘separation of powers’ (too bad the courts do not understand or respect the doctrine of separation of powers) between all these gruberment bureaucrats, it is little wonder that nothing ever happens beyond hours of talk and millions of unread written words.”

“Even a moron can see how corrupt the Barack Hussein Rspect regime was. That nothing meaningful is being done to bring the criminally corrupt to justice does not bode well for the survival of the Constitutional Republic the Founders gave us. That needs to change. Soon. Very soon.” [end]

Couldn’t have expressed it any better myself, nor tied it in with a more closely-researched paper as I have ever seen in my lifetime, and one which I will begin with first.

Most people know that a new president gets to name over 4,000 political appointees when they are elected. This political cronyism is partisan politics and fills our bloated government with unqualified employees.

Some think that these are the people that comprise the Deep State.

But the Deep State is much deeper than that.

There is a much more sinister system in place that controls Washington D. C.’s bureaucracies through an actual, organized shadow government called the Deep State.

It is the heart of the swamp.

And in this American Intelligence Media citizen intelligence report, we are going to show you exactly who they are and how we can remove them.

The Washington D. C. Deep State is a group of 8,156 appointed managers in 75 federal agencies that control the executive bureaucracy and tell new political appointees what they can and cannot do. Yes, that’s right, the Deep State is an official government program, well-organized, comprehensive, and “in charge.”

OUT OF THE 8,156 MEMBERS WHO MAKE UP THIS DEEP STATE OF ENSCONCED BUREAUCRATS, OVER 7,000 WERE APPOINTED BY OBAMA.

These the are the “Obama Holdouts” that still control the executive branch of government a full year after Trump has come to office. Obama expanded the existing Flag_of_the_United_States_Senior_Executive_Service.svgprogram of Deep State managers and appointed over 7,000 of the 8,156 bosses who are called the Senior Executive Service. Some call it the “Shadow Government”, and it is true that this federal cabal works in the shadows.

Have you ever heard of such a group?

Some call it Obama’s Army.

Which brings to mind on a lighter tone (you might notice my shying away from the DC OIG dog and pony show still going on!) the old BBC series ‘Yes Prime Minister’ from the mid 1980s and this particular clip on the definition of ‘highly confidential’ … Almost a close reference to the Clintonista’s “depends on what ‘is, is'”… Very often (to which we can all agree) there seems to be sometimes, very little difference between truth and fiction; real and imagined; the facts versus satire. Sgt. Joe Friday – ‘the facts, ma’am; just the facts’.

To which I can now lead you in to the American Spectator piece by David Catron …

The Justice Department’s tepid OIG report, with its risible assertion that there was no political bias in the FBI’s Clinton email probe, suggests that it was written by people afraid to tell the unvarnished truth about the conduct of the federal government’s police apparatus, an agency that openly defies congressional oversight and has participated in a vendetta against a sitting president. The FBI’s leadership clearly hopes that the Democrats will win majorities in Congress and put a halt to the investigations into its multifarious abuses of power. The OIG is loath to face the ruthless reprisals that would inevitably follow such a disaster.

In other words, the Justice Department’s Office of Inspector General is filled with people who fear the FBI. Think about that for a minute. What is the usual term for a government whose members live in fear of its police arm? Ronald Reagan famously said, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.” The OIG report suggests that its demise may be only one election away.

Read the whole thing right here…

He concludes that the DoJ is acting in a cowardly way because the FBI minions are expecting Democrats to take back the House and Senate and from there will go full bore against their enemies, spying, investigating, and charging, with Trump-unhinged Democrats cheering.

Two conclusions can be drawn from readers who don’t like this state of affairs: the FBI is overdue for a hosing out, and Christopher Wray has got to either do it or get fired.  Second, Republicans must redouble their efforts to retain control of Congress, given the threat to the republic from this.

It’s serious. Very.

  1. Trey Gowdy is looking for a post on the Supreme Court. He is going home, lying low so people will in time forget how he got everyone’s attention at infamous Benghazi, Hillary 11 hours, or now FBI hearings. He will wipe the slate clean as he was and is still be depicted as a “Hero”, Modern day Superman fighting all alone. Truth be known, he has been a disaster as all have walked while Trey goes in and out of the beauty salons to maintain his character….. hair, beard, eyes …. a stunt to appear before “We the People”. In the meantime, good guys such as Jim Jordan are overlooked. Who would you look at Head cheese Trey that seems to managed a new do (hairstyle, shave or not, glasses or contacts) and stayed up nights to present his case. A case we know will not mean a hill of beans where Justice is concerned. I don’t doubt for one second, he will succeed in being placed on that Court.
