The New Lexington American Hero

Go Ahead, Make ...

Go Ahead, Make …

People aren’t born heroes, they become them through their actions and deeds, not words and posturing. And that was the choice before us yesterday – to vote for, and support, a flawed but prescient candidate for the presidency of the United States, or to cave in to someone who has never, ever, in their entire life, exhibited the slightest ability to rise above and beyond criminality, calumny, and tyranny. Yesterday, Mr. and Mrs. Everyman rose up and became the collective New American Hero.

We the People have the power and we are the majority. Look what has happened to Target, the NFL, Starbucks, Hollywood, the entertainment industry, etal. Yes they are still around but they ARE suffering because we have said NO to their hideous PC insanity. The majority of us attempt to play by the rules, but for the past eight years the rules have been broken into tatters by our rogue government. They have become so arrogant that they don’t even hide their disdain for us anymore. But yesterday, WE THE PEOPLE showed that collectively, we can make a difference.

A spirit has been revived in our nation that had fallen asleep for decades. This spirit of truth cares little about majorities and political leverages. This spirit cannot and will not be dominated, and will fight whatever the odds, as long as our hearts desire the authentic God-given right to freedom and “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Millions of past American comrades over the centuries respected those freedoms so much, that they fought and died for their preservation; only to witness the present corrupt administration whittle them all away in the blink of an eye over the past eight years.

The “legacy” of Obama, Mooch, and their sidekicks Hillary, Biden, Comey and the rest of their corrupt cabal, will be that they were so corrupt that we got the major awakening of a complacent people to overcome the totality of the corruption. Thanks to the internet and “alternative media” (of which yours truly is a staunch member) we have a means for We the People to communicate, and we are indeed exchanging lies for truth on a daily basis. The MSM is in its horse and buggy days and is just another news source among the millions now available.

Minuteman, Lexington Green, 1775 .. The spirit lives on!

Minuteman Hero, Lexington Green, 1775 .. The spirit lives on!

So today, dear hero, take a bow for attending to business yesterday, and entering that private booth or behind the curtain, to cast your vote for an albeit imperfect but good man. I stand and salute you.  The outcome of this election could ultimately prove what John Stuart Mill’s classic essay “On Liberty” presciently points out: “… there needs protection also against the tyranny of the prevailing opinion and feeling, against the tendency of society to impose, by other means than civil penalties, its own ideas and practices as rules of conduct on those who dissent from them[.]”

But it should be declared right now that We the American People will not anymore, politely and quietly succumb to the tyranny of majoritarianism.  What happened yesterday, with the “good” prevailing through the blessing of God, the brutality and intensity of this most righteous of battles was well worth it. This new collective American Hero now has a rallying cry to rise up and fight on against the most egregious of tyrants. Bringing God back into the fabric of everyday American life will be the first step in that revolution.

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND TO THE REPUBLIC FOR WHICH IT STANDS, ONE NATION UNDER GOD, INDIVISIBLE, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

God Bless America!

And now be blessed from this wonderful piece from yesterday in anticipation of the desired result, “The New American Hero” from Leesa K. Donner in American Thinker…

284px-American_Thinker_logoIt could be said that our nation has long been defined by its heroes – from George Washington to George Patton and every single one of those brave individual Americans in between.  They are the ones who fought the good fight and won the wars, the ones who created a country of power and greatness the world heretofore had not objectified.  But this election has brought to the forefront a new American hero, one who has endured personal violence and defamation, witnessed unspeakable collusion in once trusted government agencies, and made a loud and salient point that will never, ever be silenced.

That collective hero who stands in the gap for the disenfranchised, marginalized, alienated, and excluded American is none other than the Trump voter.

This hero has been subjected to organized violence at political rallies now made demonstrably clear by the WikiLeaks emails.  They’ve been harassed and called vicious – dare we say – deplorable names, not to mention the breathtaking collusion among the president of the United States, his political hacks at the Justice Department, and perhaps even the FBI.  The sustained endurance of this hero and his unwillingness to sit down and shut up when told have been nothing less than inspiring.
