En Garde in the bunker…

So Morning Joe and his Concubine are now tossing the political hand grenade to President Donald Trump accusing him of being beneath the dignity of the Oval Office? Are they kidding us?

Let’s snap back a generation or so for the “facts ma’am, just the facts.”

“And then he took my hand, and he – and he put it on him. And, that’s when I pushed away from him and – and decided it was time to get out of there.” ~ Kathleen Willey on Bill Clinton, 1998.

So the same kind of people who characterized Clinton’s predations as a “personal matter”, postponed their vacation to go on air and accuse Trump of being a raging savage beast. The same Big Media who are metaphorically-obsessed with brutally decapitating the Donald Trump presidency – day in day out, 24/7, year-round – expect dignity? Well, I never!

Beta Males, such as Barry and Bubba who have Alpha wives such as Michelle and Hillary, are the preferred Presidential types of the liberal Left. Alpha males on the other hand, are secure in their masculinity and don’t have to constantly prove it to the world. Beta males however, are quite aware of their physical limitations and some (the political types) are constantly trying to prove their superiority through underhanded and nefarious means. To these Betas, a win’s a win and morals be damned. Sound/look familiar?

Thank God Donald Trump is beginning to feel right at home in the White House. Thank Goodness!

As usual, President Trump is outraging the political-media establishment, who all assume that his early-morning tweets yesterday zinging the Morning Joe odd couple, “hitting back ten times as hard,” as wife Melania once characterized his tactical doctrine, were the result of some form of derangement.  They are not equipped to understand the strategy that lies behind his tweets.  Like fish unaware of the water in which they swim, they operate on the basis of unconscious beliefs.

President Trump understands that the current informal-but-very-real rules of the game have allowed Mika and Joe (and the rest of the media-political world as well) free rein to savage him and his family, while he is supposed to be a gentleman and just take it while they get support for attacking him.

That’s what President George W. Bush did, and it cost him dearly, unto this day.  His suffering may be noble, but that form of greatness does not seem to interest President Trump.

Trump understands that the culture governing D.C. and the media has to change because it systematically favors his opponents.  They set the rules, and those rules give the media the ability to call the shots, and the media overwhelmingly oppose him.  Media criticism cows Republicans into submission and boosts the causes of the left.

So President Trump, who is a doer, is actively working to change that culture by violating its norms.  Norms are the key to the way behavior is actually regulated in the workplace (and other social groupings).  Norms are the informal rules, the shared understandings, the proper way things are done in a particular group. The best way to think of them is as a shared sentiment that begins with the words “people ought to…”  People within a specific culture almost never question their norms and, in fact, are unaware that they exist…until they are violated.

Morning Joe and Concubine… Aren’t they supposed to be investigative journalists?

Excellent, the liberal Left wants us to believe that there are rules conservatives must obey, while they gad about behaving in any way they choose – hence, all the fake outrage every time Trump acts exactly the way they themselves do.

You can’t win if you don’t fight; that was a lesson many of us learned a long time ago. The goal of the progressive movement is to silence the opposition and force conservatives to play a game where they are not allowed to fight back. If we accept their premise we are destined to lose this battle.

Trump, to his credit, attacks people who are wealthy, powerful and have access to the media to defend themselves, like this latest with Morning Joe and his concubine who all of a sudden, are overcome with a dose of self-righteous indignation against something Trump tweeted.

Obama and his sycophantic minions on the other hand, specialized in vicious, life-ruining attacks against ordinary people – Joe the Plumber, for instance, Nakoula Nakoula (the film-maker blamed for Benghazi), cops defending themselves in the line of duty.

President Trump may have offended the delicate sensibilities of some prissies out there with his snarky tweet, but most of us are amused and encouraged by him giving the Liberal Media and the DemoMarxists the middle finger.

Their confusion and consternation at being confronted is a joy to behold.
