Jeff Sessions playing the wily fox…?

Go ahead, make my…

Back in the beginning of February (the 2nd to be exact) I brought you a piece titled ‘FISA release just tip of the iceberg’ (link provided down below) containing the investigative reportage of ‘sundance’ in The Conservative Treehouse and just how far they had gone in joining the dots of arguably the biggest scandal in United States history.

Fast-forward to today on the back of another couple of articles released in the meantime on the further progress of the investigations, and you are entirely up to speed as to progress going on ‘behind the veil’, as it were.

As ‘sundance’ opens up in this latest continuation:

There has been a great deal of consternation, directed toward AG Jeff Sessions surrounding the ongoing FISA abuse scandal and the larger issues of unlawful DOJ and FBI conduct in their political investigation of candidate Donald Trump. It is a matter of great division amid people who follow the details.

That said, AG Jeff Sessions revealed tonight [ie the 7th] in an interview with Shannon Bream, that he previously appointed a DOJ official to investigate the issues delivered by Chairman Bob Goodlatte (House Judiciary), prior to receiving the request for a Special Counsel from Chairman Goodlatte and Trey Gowdy. Take a look and listen:

Transcript @00:15 (emphasis mine [sundance]) “Well, I have great respect for Mr. Gowdy and Chairman Goodlatte, and we are going to consider seriously their recommendations. I have appointed a person outside of Washington, many years in the Department of Justice to look at all the allegations that the House Judiciary Committee members sent to us; and we’re conducting that investigation.

Also I am well aware we have a responsibility to insure the integrity of the FISA process, we’re not afraid to look at that. The inspector general, some think that our inspector general is not very strong; but he has almost 500 employers, employees, most of which are lawyers and prosecutors; and they are looking at the FISA process. We must make sure that it’s done properly, and we’re going to do that. And I’ll consider their request.”

Well, there you have it. There is already an appointed person, likely a prosecutor, from “outside of Washington”, in place prior to the recent request for a Special Counsel by Goodlatte and Gowdy. That was exactly what an objective analysis of the events previously outlined – and we previously noted.

Attorney Jeff Sessions is noting the existence of an outside prosecutor who has been in place for quite a while, exactly as we thought.  All the evidence of this was/is clear if you follow the granular details closely. Here’s how we figure it out; and also the reason why no-one in Washington DC – including congress and the president – was previously aware.

Read more – much more – in this brilliant and easily-understood expository analysis …

Now consider that the appointment of a Special Counsel is not required to be announced to anybody, so Jeff Sessions is well within his authority not to do so. (See 28 CFR 600.9(b)), [Special Counsel], Notification and reports by the Attorney General).

According to good sources in the know, there are valid reasons to not report the appointment, as people inside Congress and people near the top of the FBI are (or should be/might be) targets of the investigation. That is, there is justification for secrecy, and in line with the operating procedure, it also makes sense that a person with prosecutorial powers would be provided to work in parallel with Horowitz, rather than work the usual sequential/series scheduling. All legalese to me, but on good authority and well within the purview of AG Jeff Sessions.

Once again kudos to ‘sundance’, who has an amazing gift for the ability to organize and lay out very complex issues so that they can be readily digested and understood by all and sundry (including yours truly!). And on a lighter note by the way, if I were a crow I’d be a little bit nervous right about now; seems to me that’s going to be a rare bird to find soon!

America has forever been full of the ‘enemies within’ and the current generation is seemingly no different. But as I constantly trumpet (pun intended) our nationalism, populism, and a new courageous president is all that stands in the way of these continuing threats from the liberal Leftist DemoMarxists. A real threat that we ignore at our peril.

Thank God for President Donald J. Trump for being so insightful and intuitive – MAGA!
