A noble land, where once champions of civilization ruled, today has become the very thing they once fought against, which were demons from Hell. And that would be my native Britain.
This story of Charlie Gard and his parents is, and always has been, about the UK going full-on totalitarian hell. It is underlining the fact that the Government owns parents’ children. In parallel proceedings Britain is now gearing up to erase Christianity completely from sight, and nothing going on in the world today so perfectly illustrates the pathetic state of “civilization”.
Decades ago this would have raised a worldwide uproar. Today simply a lukewarm yawn. Here right before us are the results of a Godless people and a growing Godless hell, populated by the same people who hold climate summits under the guise of ‘human concern’ for genocidal death in the world, under the heading of ‘societal responsibility’.
Consider that baby Charlie MUST die for the good of the socialist cause. Every day he lives on is a testament to the failure and inefficiency of state run, socialist health systems everywhere. And THIS is what the Communist DemoMarxists from hell want to force on America, to replace their already failed Obamacare.
They march and chant “death with dignity”, but it’s not Charlie Gard’s dignity they aim to maintain, rather the government death panel’s own.
Joe Herring expresses it very well in today’s American Thinker…
Charlie Gard’s parents have reportedly withdrawn their legal challenge to the Great Ormond Street Hospital’s demand to quit wasting time and get on with the business of killing their son in the name of “compassion.”
While an apparently inexplicable decision to those of us on the outside, as a parent/grandparent of a child with a similar mitochondrial disorder, I can understand the weight that has been steadily crushing this young family, multiplied to infinity by the heavy hand of a formless, nameless bureaucracy arrayed against them.
I expect that the reason for this is equal parts medical necessity and natural human response to exhaustion – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
The attorney for the family has stated that “time has run out,” the circumstance that has prompted this decision at this late stage.
It appears Great Ormond Street Hospital has successfully run out the clock on young Charlie, forestalling treatment long enough to let the disease continue ravaging the boy’s brain and body, until now there remains so very little of Charlie left to be treated, no matter how promising the therapy once might have been.
Barring a miracle, dreadful heartbreak appears imminent – for Charlie, for his admirable and inspiring parents, and for that very real but intangible concept we know as “humanity.”
May the sacrifice of Charlie Gard on the altar of socialist expediency be the final undoing of the concept of the state as god, parent, and master.
Your spirit, Charlie, once freed from this mortal confine, will rise to your eternal reward. It is my fervent prayer that our sense of decency, humanity, and empathy is drawn higher in your wake.
Ad te Deus; in nobis manet infernum. (To God you go; in Hell we remain.)
What most correct-thinking people don’t get is why GOSH (Great Ormond Street Hospital) would oppose sending Charlie to New York. The parents had raised the money, NOT the government, nor the hospital. Why wouldn’t GOSH say “go with our blessing and we’ll send along a Dr/nurse to assist?”
If this horrific disease could be challenged by medical research and the skills of the best care in the world – (if in doubt just ask any Islamic Muslim potentate who comes here for treatment) – why would any children’s hospital oppose that?
It has that nasty whiff of sulfurous hell to it, plus the deadly sin of pride, methinks.
The really sad thing is, that had Charlie been a serial killer awaiting execution, there would be a huge uproar, street marches and wailing and gnashing of teeth. The same people who see nothing wrong with making sure this child dies are fighting the execution of a child rapist and murderer in Ohio scheduled for tomorrow.
Just keep remembering that Sarah Palin was ridiculed for saying that death panels were coming. Well, there we have it. Euthanasia, without consent, which I believe is called murder.
Charlie Gard is Exhibit number 1.
RIP Charlie in the arms of your ever-loving Lord.
