En Garde in the bunker…

Just when you think the DemoMarxists can’t get any lower in the sewer than they already are, along comes a plot so outrageous it makes your head spin. Diane Feinstein (let’s call her ‘DiFi’ for short) is all agog today with information she received containing ‘dirt’ on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Quote: ‘I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.’

And (breathlessly waiting) just what was the ‘matter’ referred to the feds … CIA? FBI? DEA? NSA? Homeland Security? Mmmmmm?

The bloodhounds over at Conservative Treehouse led by ‘sundance’ gave us the scoop:

In a last ditch effort to come up with some scheme or roadblock, ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Dianne Feinstein, has announced she is referring a High School allegation of sexual misconduct to federal authorities for immediate investigation.

Feinstein refuses to release any details about her reference letter, allowing for maximum innuendo and gossip, and presents a disingenuous and transparently political public release to accompany her announcement.  According to the New York Times:

WASHINGTON — The senior Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee referred information involving Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh, President Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court, to federal investigators on Thursday, but the senator declined to make public what the matter involved.

Two officials familiar with the matter say the incident involved possible sexual misconduct between Judge Kavanaugh and a woman when they were both in high school.

The statement by Senator Dianne Feinstein of California came a week before the Judiciary Committee is to vote on his nomination.  (read more)

Read High School. Sexual allegation. With a ‘woman’. In an all boys school. And DiFi held on to this for months (well, weeks, anyway). So here we go again … Sources who heard it from a source, who got it from someone. Or how about back to the old standby – That ever reliable source, the “friend of my cousin’s hairdresser, who knew someone who went to school with the cousin of the hairdresser who had a friend that used to deliver the morning paper to the alleged victim’s house, although his brother was delivering the papers that day.”

Or more likely and to the point, DiFi got the scoop from the ChiFi Commie who was squiring her around for 20-plus years as her (ahem!) ‘driver’. Wonder when she’ll be arrested and indicted for treason and aiding and abetting the enemy within. Mmmmmm?

Then we can scoop up all those millions of dollars she and her criminal husband got from the Chi Fi Commies during those 20-plus years.

WOW! I was getting real excited there and the darned bedside alarm went off. Yet another puff of smoke surrounds the DemoMarxists.

Oh, by the way – Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley has scheduled the committee vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh for Thursday September 20th. A full senate vote is anticipated prior to the end of this month. SCOTUS session begins October 1st.
