Pope Francis Obama In Extremis…

En Garde In The Bunker

En Garde In The Bunker

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her … When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. ~ John 8: 7, 10-11

“We don’t talk politics, and we don’t talk religion” – an old-time maxim that I learned long ago to respect, especially when in the company of strangers (or family around the Thanksgiving table for that matter!). Until that is, political commentary, opinion, and topics of a biblical nature became part of my daily bread; especially when one happens to intersect with the other. And even more especially when the Pope injects himself into the political realm of a leading candidate for president of the United States, which was the case when opening the Pandora’s Box of commentary blogs early this morning.

Reviewing events over the past week one gets the impression that this was more of a political visit by the Pope than it was one of a religious nature, since it involved embracing the demonic dictatorship of the Cubanista’s before arriving in Mexico to stage an event at America’s border which was to have included a planned stroll across the divide by the Pontiff himself surrounded by scraggly illegal immigrants. Thankfully, someone at the State Department thought better of that ploy and removed it from the itinerary. Which didn’t however, deny the Pontiff the opportunity to erect a “cross of immigrant martyrs” right there overlooking the United States border and thus painting USA citizens with the tarred and feathered brush of ignominy.

Fifty-foot walls of protection around the Vatican...

Fifty-foot walls of protection around the Vatican…

Meanwhile back at the Vatican (the Pontiff’s home) things remained peacefully the same. The Vatican is enshrined behind a 50-foot wall which was built in 852 AD to keep hordes of Islamic Muslim invaders out, a part of history which is quite inconvenient to hardcore leftists like Obama the Clown Prince of Fools and his acolytes who by the way now I think of it, is following the Pontiff’s visit to the demonic Cubanista dictatorship with one of his own in the coming weeks; birds of a feather, stick together it seems.

Is the Pope Christian? It would appear to be no longer a rhetorical question. If the Pope wanted to question Trump’s Christianity, he could have brought up a recent quote when Trump said he’d never sought forgiveness from God. However that does not further the Gospel of Marx, from which it appears this Pontiff receives his marching orders. Whether Trump is a Christian or not, I firmly believe he is a much better defender of Judeo-Christian values than this implanted Vicar of Christ. That was made abundantly clear on the plane home yesterday. This dust up will not hurt Trump, but it only further alienates Americans from the ruling class, where this Pope resides within his own gated community surrounded by the armed Swiss Guard. So much for relevancy.

Pope gets antsy with the crowds …

This pope and his sidekick Barack Hussein Obama are vested in destruction and slavery just as John Paul II and Ronald Wilson Reagan were vested in freedom and providence. What remains unspoken is the fact that billions upon billions of dollars are sent to Mexico from the United States annually from relatives to their kin. That’s why the Mexican government makes comic books explaining how to cross the border. It’s free money to them, yet Americans have to work for it and pay the taxes on it so the illegals can empty the treasury.

The pontiff’s remarks about Trump aboard his flying palace…

TRANSCRIPT
Phil Pullella, Reuters: Today, you spoke very eloquently about the problems of immigration. On the other side of the border, there is a very tough electoral battle. One of the candidates for the White House, Republican Donald Trump, in an interview recently said that you are a political man and he even said that you are a pawn, an instrument of the Mexican government for migration politics. Trump said that if he’s elected, he wants to build 2,500 kilometers of wall along the border. He wants to deport 11 million illegal immigrants, separating families, etcetera. I would like to ask you, what do you think of these accusations against you and if a North American Catholic can vote for a person like this?

Pope Francis: Thank God he said I was a politician because Aristotle defined the human person as ‘animal politicus.’ At least I am a human person. As to whether I am a pawn, well, maybe, I don’t know. I’ll leave that up to your judgment and that of the people. And then, a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian. This is not in the Gospel. As far as what you said about whether I would advise to vote or not to vote, I am not going to get involved in that. I say only that this man is not Christian if he has said things like that. We must see if he said things in that way and in this I give the benefit of the doubt.

In closing, just how far away has the Catholic heirarchy strayed from what the Apostle Paul wrote way back in 65 AD when describing the qualifications of senior church leaders?

This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil. ~ I Timothy 3:1-7

The pontificating Pope...

The pontificating Pope…

This pope was elected at the end of an era, an era of appeasement and political correctness. He has not realised how much he is out of touch and that he has become almost as irrelevant as George Clooney with whom he shares the same ideology. Catholics all over the world are as dismayed about this Pope as Americans are about Obama. One hopes this is the last South American Pope for quite a while; Eastern Europe seems like a much better place to find good Popes.
